Skye' POV

"This is QNB-T16. It's the top-shelf Martini of Sodium Pentothal derivatives. It's a brand-new and extremely potent truth drug. Don't worry. The effects only last about an hour." Coulson says. I groan internally and I see Maria's face flash with a little bit of fear before it turns blank again. I know I can beat it, I've done it before, but that doesn't mean I want to. It takes far to much concentration.

"And you'll have a nice little nap. And we'll have all the answers to our..." Wards cut off by Coulson, who stabs the needle into his arm. "Hey! What the hell?!"

"I'm sorry. Did that hurt?" Coulson asks, smirking at Ward, whose scowl had most definitely returned.

"No. But you've lost your mind. You should never do that to a member of your team. And, yes, it did hurt a little bit. But I always try and mask my pain in front of beautiful women 'cause I think it makes me seem more masculine. My god, this stuff works fast." Ward says, directing the 'beautiful women' at me part. It makes me smirk a little, but I don't say anything.

"Don't trust us? Ask him whatever you'd like." Coulson says, opening the door and holding it open as Maria steps out.

"Wait a minute. Wait. You can't just..." Coulson leaves the room and I smirk at Ward. "This is definitely not protocol-" The door slams shut.

"You seem nervous, Agent Ward." I say, seductively taking off my jacket and leaning over the table.

"I'm calling to mind my training." Ward says, I get up and walk around the table towards him. "There's no way I'm gonna reveal classified secrets to a girl who's hell-bent on taking us down."

I lean over next to him, trying to make him even more nervous. It seems it's working. "Have you ever killed anyone?" I ask.

"Yes, a few. High-risk targets. But they were terrible people..." I move to his other side. "Who were trying to murder nice people. And I didn't feel good afterwards."

"And does your grandmother know about these things?" I ask. I wanted to ask who else he was working for and what they're up to, but I don't, because that would make him suspicious.

"Gramzy?" He asks, looking up at me.

"Did Agent Ward give you anything?" Coulson asks as I step out of the interrogation room, moving ever so slightly closer to Maria, who was leaning over the holotable.

"He told me he's been to Paris, but he's never really seen it and that he wishes you had stayed in Tahiti." I reply, rolling my eyes slightly. I wish I could've gotten more. But that would've been suspicious.

"It's a magical place." Coulson tells us. When I found out about Tahiti, I was angry at Fury, because who the hell injects someone with alien blood without their consent and then performs brain surgery to erase his memories about it? It's crazy.

"Ward doesn't like your style. Kind of think I do." I say, sneakily putting my arm around Maria's waist, who lets out a surprised squeak, but welcomes the closeness.

"What about his?" Coulson asks, looking at the TV, which both Maria and I instantly turn to.

"...remains in critical condition. Employees could not identify the attacker, but security footage confirms that this man assaulted the factory foreman before damaging thousands of dollars' worth of company property." The news reporter says. I freeze when I see what Mike had done, but knew instantly that it was the serum they'd injected him with.
