Chapter 7

 

     "Y/n." Hearing Garrus on the other side of my door hurts. I locked myself up in room after we left Rannoch Tali is tagging with us at least. "Y/n. I know Javiks death is hard but you can't hide forever." He open the door and looks at me on my floor hugging my knees. "Y/n." He sighs and kneel in front of me.

   "It's going to be okay." He says. Pulling my fragile body to him. "Javik wouldn't want you to blame yourself."

'Y/n. Don't let my death go in vain. Never give up! Never give any sign of weakness or meekness. Let them fear you...now fight and win.'

"Your right Garrus." He help me up and I stood on my feet. "Now come on we have someone to make talk." He told me.

We the AI core and this alien behind a field Legion placed up. "Now what are you?" I asked her sternly. "Is your friend dead?" She ask me. "What are you? I won't repeat it again." I told her. "A Kilnx. Mainly female a race but we're deadly warriors. Too bad that alien friend of yours is dead." She comments. "Don't bring him up again. Or I'll paint this room with your blood." I threatened. "How did you find us?" She laughs. "Why would I tell?" Garrus beside me rubs my back. "Ah the Turian. Husband of Y/n Vakarian. So tell me is she still a good leader after she killed someone." My breathing hitched. "Shut it. We are questioning you." He said sternly. "Fine fine. One of your crew mates is your traitor. I won't say who only because I don't know." She told me. "Why do the Qwakes want me..." I ask her. "I told you already. Dead. So when the Reapers come back they won't have any fear of mere girl." Garrus looks at me. "What do you mean come back? They shouldn't be back for another thousand years." Garrus says. "We are bringing them back. She needs to be dead and John Shepherd. So that way no one stops them again. We are what you can call the assassins for the Reapers." I got this wrote down on my data pad. "Sure helpful for someone trying to kill me." I said. "No matter what you do. You will die and your friends. Your alien friend was the example."

   I look at Garrus. "Get everyone out of shuttle bay and throw her in there." I told him. "Why?" I look at her. "We're going to space her. Javik would've thrown her out the airlock." I said with a smirk. "What? But I heard Y/n was diplomatic! Not a damn sadist." She cries.

   "Yeah I am. But you pissed me off. You won't hear my resolve you'll hear your screams for help." I told her. Low voice with rumbling anger.

   "You can't?! No!" She backs away from Garrus.

  
   "Y/n. She's down there." Garrus tells me. I'm looking out the window from the engineering room. "Joker space the bitch." "Yes ma'am." Seeing the docking door open and her body flying out. "I threw someone out an airlock Javik I bet you would've laugh."

   I got up to cockpit to see Joker. "Y/n that was extreme." I nodded. "I'm just starting Joker." I said.
"Joker head to Thessia." "Why?" "We need to see Shepherd and Mom and I got mail from mom saying they there." "Aye aye."

  
    "Y/n." I turn around to Joker. "You make a hell of commander don't let anyone tell you different. Also don't tell Shepherd I said that." I smile at him. "Thank you Joker."

We landed in Theissa and I decided to go alone since no one will hurt me here.

I went to house to see a little blue Asari. "Hey Nicole!" I greeted. Nicole was adopted she's 18 now. Her family was killed in the Reaper attack and mom offer to take care of her. "Hey Y/n! John and Liara are inside." I smile at her and went inside.

"Mom! John!" I called out. Seeing my old commander and mom. "Y/n! How is Normandy." I gave a sad smile. "Uh look at these data pads...I have bad news." I told him.

"Javik was killed in action...and these Qwakes want to bring the Reapers back! Like Saren?" I nodded. "They want us dead...it might be safe to take Nicole and mom and leave." He shook his head. "You take Nicole." My eyes widen. "What?!" "Take Nicole she isn't a combat person but she has a great sense of tech. Plus she would be safer on the Normandy." He explains. "Liara and I were about to leave soon." Mom came downstairs and smile to see me. "By the goddess your here! I didn't think you show up this quick!" She smiles. "Yes I am...uh." "Liara we have to leave sooner then I thought and Y/n is taking Nicole." Liara was worried then Shepherd hands her the data pad. "Javik. By the goddess." She whispers.

"Why can't you come lead the team John..." "because I've retired already. I'm too old to be wrestling down krogan." I sigh. "I know it's hard but if anyone can do it. It will be you." He told me.

Taking Nicole with me was maybe a bad call. She's only 18! But then again I was too. Damn she's like me.

"Y/n?" I place down my data pad as I look up to Tali. "Yes?" "Why do we have a kid?" She ask me. "Because Liara ask me to." Tali looks at the young Asari. "She won't cause trouble but with her we maybe able to find more on these Qwakes I have her the data pad already." Tali looks at me concerned. "Y/n. Are you sure your okay?" I smile at her. "I'll be fine don't worry." She nods as she left the CIC.

   Since Javik died Atlantis hasn't spoke once. She doesn't feel apart of me anymore. This death hit me hard. "Y/n!" I snap out of thought as I saw Nicole come up to me. "Look! Qwake isn't their real alien name. Qwake is lore from before Protheans which kind of like a god. Liaras time exploring dig sites paid off. Qwake is just the lore it isn't the real species name." Nicole show her data. "Good job kid. Now let's see how this can help....maybe we can hit a Prothean dig site to help." She shook her head. "That lady you spaced." I nodded for her to keep going. "After learning she took these bots it is possible to learn she would try to do a meet up. So my guess if she killed you where would she try to meet at?" I sigh till I hear the heavy metal steps. "Y/n-Commander! We may have an answer." I look at Legion. "We like to guess it be somewhere on near the veil. For a quick escape." Maybe it makes sense. "Joker you hear that?" "Yes ma'am." "Set course then."

    My specialist has been nervous lately. "Specialist." He stops what he's doing. "Did you do your Omni sweep?" I ask him. "Uh yeah of course ma'am! Since we looking for traitor right?" I smirk at him.

   Only people that know that is Joker, EDI, Garrus, Tali, James and Legion. I knew he was lying. "How? With who?" I ask him. "With Legion Ma'am..." I sigh. "EDI." "Yes?" "Are we doing Omni-Tool scans for our traitor." I ask her. "No." The man was sweating. "Adam." I said lowly. "Did you give away out location to enemy." 
    
     "No ma'am!"
