It was a late Saturday afternoon and Erina was finally done with her shift. Cooking was her passion, but that didn't mean she didn't get tired of it sometimes. The sky was gray, and she knew it was going to rain soon. She could just take the subway home, but she decided to walk. The weather was nice and she was a big fan of rain. "Hi there" a man, roughly around her age, a bit older, stood in front of her. "Hi" she looked at him. "Tomorrow Spring Ranch is having a service at 6 pm. Come join us! It will be amazing." "Uh, no thanks," she mumbled and began to walk away. "Alright then, Jesus loves you so much" he smiled. "I doubt that" she murmured under her breath. "Why do you doubt that?" he asked her. She looked at his name tag. "Listen, uh, Joshua, right? Go have fun! Go explore! Are you really gonna spend the rest of life.. doing this?" Joshua looked at her. "Jesus gave up his life for me, I will gladly give up my life for Him." Erina stared at him. She looked at his face. Quite handsome this guy was. It was a shame he was religious. "Fine. I'll come" Erina grabbed a pamphlet from his hand. "I'll be waiting for you" he looked at her. Erina walked away. She never thought about God. He was always some myth to her, like the tooth fairy or unicorns. Whatever or wherever He was, Erina couldn't seem to care. "He's gonna be waiting a long time" she sighed and threw the pamphlet into a nearby trash can.
