Erina woke up. Her head was pounding. "Holy crap" she said and put her pillow over her head. "Did he drive me home?" Erina thought. All she really remembered was eating dinner at some place and then boom, she was home. "I'm late for work!"she yelled and ran to her closet. "I'm guessing he took the bus home" Erika mumbled to herself. Dang it, was she about to lose her job.

Joshua looked over at his clock. She was late, but it was okay. She was extremely drunk last night and he knew she was probably still asleep. "Chad, sorry to wake you up again. Can you come fill in for Erina. She's going to be absent today" Joshua said. "You gonna pay me extra Josh?" Chad laughed . "Sure thing" Joshua hanged up and sighed. "You good man?" Andrew asked walking in with two cups of coffee. "Yeah, I just, last night me and Erina....we um" Joshua began. "Hold on, did you have-?" Andrew gasped. "No! Oh God no! We had dinner, just dinner. Then she got drunk and I had to take her home. But before we left I kinda told her the gospel in a way." "Oh okay. Well I mean she was drunk so I don't think she'll remember but, hey! I'm proud of you" Andrew smiled at him. "Actually, this isn't the first time we've met, I mean me and Erina " Joshua tells him. "Wait what, what do you mean" Andrew looked at his friend is disbelief. RING!RING! "Hold that thought Drew" Joshua reached over to answer the phone. "Joshua Samuel Smith!" his father yelled over the phone. "Good morning to you too dad" Joshua looked at Andrew. "Yeah" Andrew smiled and walked out of the office. "You turned down Rachel, for some unbeliever?!" Pastor Smith sounded angry. "What? Who told you that? I turned Rachel down because I don't love her. Not because of someone else" Joshua said. "I don't know who this other girl is, but I'm going to figure it out. Don't forget that on Sunday Pastor Lamb and his family are going to attend service " Pastor Smith mumbled and hung up. Joshua looked around. "Wow. She actually told my dad. I didn't think she would stoop so low" Joshua got up and left his office.

"I'm here, I'm here!" Erina yelled as she walked into the kitchen. "Oh Chad what are you doing here?" she looked at him. "Oh Joshua called me here. He said you weren't going to show up. But here you are" Chad looked at her. "Yes here am I so" Erina smiled. "You're fired" Joshua walked in the kitchen. Chad and Erina both turned to look at him. "Um Joshua she's just been late one day, I think you're being to harsh" Andrew, who was standing behind him, whispered. "Why are you doing this Josh?" Erina looked at him puzzled,"You know why I was late," ."I don't care Erina. You're fired. Go get your things and leave" Joshua said. Erina walked away. "Joshua, did you hook up her or something?" Chad asked. "Shut up Chad" Joshua mumbled.

Erina was in shock. "Did I say something dumb last night" she said. "I don't remember anything" she began walking to her bathroom. It was already time for bed and she was still trying to figure out why Joshua had fired her. "It's only been 2 months. And what am I gonna tell my company? Are they going to fire me too?" Erina cried. "Hello?" she picked up her phone. "Sweetie!" her mom answers. "Hello mom" Erina groans. "How was work hun?" her mom asks. "I got fired" Erina sighs. "Aw no what happened?" "Well I took the Pastor 's son out to dinner, got drunk, and God knows what I told him" Erina laughed. "Oh honey, you know you shouldn't be drinking around religious people" her mother began. "I know it's just I don't get it sometimes. Like how he just decides to do what this man in the sky tells him" Erina says as she lays down on her bed. "Maybe find out honey. Maybe if you try and understand why he chooses to live that life you'll see things differently" her mother said. "Maybe" Erina looked at her ceiling. Then it hit her. "I have to go mom" Erina said and hung up. "I remember now! I called him gay because he said he loved Jesus?!" Erina got up from her bed. "Oh wow it's worse then I thought"  began to remember more. "He isn't some guy He's...love?"she recalled Joshua saying that. "How does that make sense? How can you love Jesus and then say He's love?" Erina grabbed her computer from her desk. "Who are you Jesus?" she opened her computer and began to type.

"What else did she say last night ?" Andrew asked Joshua. "It's late I'm going home" Joshua told him. "Do you like her? Is that why you're pushing her away?" Andrew guessed. "So what if I liked her? It's not like we can be together?" Joshua looked at his feet. "Your dad did this" Andrew sighed. "It was Rachel actually" Joshua mumbled. "Well damn. She didn't strike me as the jealous type" Andrew laughed. "I have no choice. My dad is going to try and find out what other girl I left her for, even though there is no girl" Joshua spoke. "You fired Erina because you're scared that you're dad is going to figure out it's her and then you'll never see her again. Am I right?" Andrew grinned. "I'm just trying to do what God would want me to do" Joshua sighs. "I'm proud of you Josh. I think you shouldn't give up on her though" Andrew smiled. "What do you mean?" Joshua asks. "She showed up here this morning. Probably had a pounding headache. Joshua she likes it here. She likes the church. She likes you. All you have to do is let God be God" Andrew handed Joshua a piece of paper. "What's this? he asked. "It's her address" Andre smirked and walked away.
