Erina woke up to 10 missed calls from her job. "Oh crap" she said getting up from her bed. "Hey Eric, how are you?" she mumbled. "Erina, you got fired from your job" Erina's boss, and the manager of HelloFresh said. "I did and I'm sorry. I don't think that the place you put me is for me anyways" Erina began. "It doesn't matter if it isn't for you, you're supposed to be a professional, Erina. Well whatever, I'm gonna have a meeting with the ceo in like 5 minutes. I'll call you back later" Eric hung up. "Unbelievable" Erina laid back in her bed. DING DONG DING DONG! "Who could that be, it's nine in the morning" Erina ran to the door. "Hey." There he was, Joshua. "What are you doing here? How did you know where to find me?" Erina looked at him. "Can I come in?" he asked already walking inside. "Be my guest" Erina rolled her eyes. "What do you want?" she asked him. "I wanted to see you" he sat down in the couch. "You wanted to see me? You fired me yesterday, remember?" Erina sat next to him. "Rachel told my dad about you, I had no choice" Joshua brushed Erina's hair back. "Does he think you don't want to date her because of me?" Erina backed way. "I guess. Well I tried telling him that it has nothing to do with you, but he didn't believe me" Joshua sighed. "Why didn't he?" Erina stared at him. "Maybe because I was lying" Joshua got up from the couch. "Uh what?" Erina froze. "Lying is a sin" Joshua turned to face her. "Sorry for firing you. I still want to see you though". You have my number so just call me" he opened the door and left. Erina sat there puzzled. "Who does he think he is?" she asked herself.

Erina waited all day for a call from Eric and he never called her back. Did this mean that she had gotten fired? Why had life become so difficult for her lately? KNOCK KNOCK! "Who is it now?" Erina ran to the door again. "Mom? Andrew?" there stood her mother but she wasn't alone. She had a 2 year old in her arms and Andrew, Joshua's best friend, was standing behind her. "What the hell is this?" Erina pointed at them. "I found your mother at our church" Andrew chirped. "I'm talking about the kid?" Erina looked at her mom. "This is Timmy, he's your little brother. I think his dad is Larry, or no actually it might be Thomas's" Erina's mom began to rant. "Wow, and you couldn't have just gotten an abortion?" Erina looked at her mother walking inside. "No of course not" her mom smiled as Timmy jumped on the couch. "Can we stay here for a while, only a couple months. I'm a bit short on money" Erina's mom looked at her. "Whatever" Erina turned to face Andrew. "Thank you Andrew for bringing my mom here. I hope this wasn't weird for you" Erina looked at him. "Wanna go shopping? Kids need lots of things" Andrew smiled. "Wow really? You would do that?" Erina asked. "Of course" he grabbed her hand and pulled her out the door.

"So, how long have you and Joshua been friends?" Erina asked him. "Since we were eight. That's how old Joshua was when his dad started his own church" Andrew looked at her. "You started attending his dad's church when you were eight?" Erina wondered. "Yeah. My parents weren't really big on God. One time I was playing the Ouija board with some friends and we were trying to get in contact with my friends cousin. We all felt something that night, but I kept feeling it every night after that. I didn't want to tell my dad because he wouldn't believe me. So one Sunday morning, after taking out the mail, I biked to Pastor's Smith church. It was hard to get a hold of him because there was a crowd but finally I saw him. I told him what was happening to me, and how I would feel a presence or something around me, and that it was creepy. He gave me a long explanation about spirits and demons and all that. I asked him if he could make it go away and he told me that he couldn't, but that God could. So I prayed for a week, and after that I never felt or heard anything again. I continued going to church and then when I was 14 I got saved" Joshua looked back at Erina. She was staring at him in awe. "Wow that's crazy. You know last night I was looking for evidence for Jesus and God, but honestly people's stories are just way better" Erina smiled. "You really like him" Andrew began to laugh. "What? What are you talking about? I was just curious, this has nothing to do with Joshua" Erina ranted. "Sure, sure" Andrew giggled. "Anyways, what kind of diapers do 2 years old wear?" Andrew asked. "I don't know, google it" Erina said.

"What are you doing here Rachel?" Chad looked at her. "What are you doing here Chad?" Rachel smirked. "You did this, didn't you? You got her fired?" Chad raised his eyebrows. "Stay out of people's business Chad" Rachel looked at him in eye "Get to work". Rachel Adams, such a powerful name. Her dad was a full time preacher and her mom was an author. She was one of the wealthiest girls in the city. She came from a Christian family and claimed to be a Christian, but her actions said otherwise. "Joshua!" she yelled and opened the office door. "What are you doing here? Joshua looked up from his work. "I came to make a deal. A good one" Rachel smiled. "Just say what you have to say and go" Joshua mumbled. "Ouch, that's not Christlike" Rachel looked at him. "Just go" he sighed. "If you marry me and satisfy your father, and raise my social status of course, you can see that little cook whenever you want. I really don't care what you do in your life, I just want power" she croaked. "You are so low Rachel. Please leave before I do something I don't want to" Joshua stared at her. "I'm not leaving until you say yes" Rachel brushed her hair back. "Fine then, I'll leave" Joshua got up and walked away. Rachel looked at him in disbelief. "Pastor Smith" she grabbed her phone "So nice to hear you. I have updates regarding the girl. Her name is Erina."
