"O-m-g-! You have a rat too! What's next, a bed monster?!" I chuckle.

"Umm, actually..." He turns to look under his bad.

"Dude, are you serious?" I ask stepping back.

Teasing me, he walks over and lifts his bedding over the top of his bed, to gain view of under his bed.
I watched him closing, trying not to take him seriously.

"See!!!" He shouts, making me almost pee myself.
He falls to the floor like a child at play, rolling around in laughter.
I walk over and start swatting at him playfully, "Thats not funny!! You scared me!" I whine.

"YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE!" He laughs harder.

"No, stop laughing at me-e-" I began to giggle.

I join him on the floor.

"See..your...you-" His laugh fades in my direction.

"I...What?" I scrunch my nose.

"You're beautiful-" He says with ease.

I turn on my side and face him.

"You keep saying that, but I don't believe it."

"Of course you don't, that's what makes you all the more beautiful-" He wraps my wavy strands around his finger.

"Well you're attractive too." I chuckle.

"Liar-"

"But I'm your liar-" I lean in.

He stays frozen.

"I I ... I wasn't expecting you to say that-" He stutters.

"Well I did. Will you kiss me?" I smile.

His lips gently make contact with mine. Then he warms up to it, and moves closer.

"Christina, there's something you need to know-" He states.

"It's about Nicolas." He adds.

"I don't want to talk about Nicolas-" I press on.

I push my lips even harder into his and it becomes easier to reach him.
He lays his hand over my waistline.
There aren't many words to describe this moment. I just couldn't believe James Mitchell was kissing me.

Nicolas and I have never kissed this way.

Crap.

Nicolas.

I'm suppose to only kiss Nicolas. I'm a cheater!

I get up instantly, and run.

"Hey-" James yells after me, but I don't look back; I keep running.

I run even faster until I'm past the neighborhood entrance. I reached for my cell, and asked Morgan to come pick me up. She was shocked to find me in this part of town, but I instantly claimed I had gotten lost on my walk from the coffee shop. She could tell I was lying, but didn't seem to care.
