Elizabeth, better known as Lizzie, was a Winchester by birth but a Cullen by nature. Growing up as a Winchester was never easy for her; she couldn't remember a time when she wasn't decapitating some monster's head. But one accident changed everythin...

"I think we parked the car this way," Angela spoke up.
They started walking away and were kind enough to let Lizzie fall a step behind them, letting her silently cry without comfort or questions. She was grateful for that and just followed as Jessica pointed out directions. They were only steps away from her car when Lizzie's vision blurred from all the tears and she accidentally bumped into someone. Arms quickly shot out and steadied her before she fell.
"Careful there... Lizzie?"
She looked up to see Jacob standing in front of her, his face full of concern. He was with his dad again and three other people she didn't recognize. But for once, Billy Black's gaze wasn't a glare instead it looked almost sympathetic as well as surprised.
"Lizzie, what happened? Are you okay?"
Jacob watched as the tears cascaded down her face. He looked over her shoulder to see Jessica and Angela behind her.
"She wouldn't tell us," Jessica offered. "We were shopping for prom dresses, then she wanted to go to a bookstore and when she came back her brother was with her and she was crying."
Jacob nodded. "Okay, I've got it from here. It's fine."
"We were actually just heading home," Angela told him.
"I can take her."
Angela and Jessica came up behind Lizzie, each giving her a small hug.
"Is that okay, Lizzie?"
"Yeah, thanks and sorry," she mumbled out.
"It's okay, we'll see you at school. Alright?" they rubbed her arm before walking off to Jessica's car.
"You're okay," Jacob tried to reassure as he wiped Lizzie's tears away with his thumb. If he took notice of how cold she was he didn't say anything, probably blaming it on the cold night air. He then remembered his dad and the other company with them. "Oh um, this is Seth and Leah and their dad Harry Clearwater." He introduced before giving Lizzie the kind of smile that got her to stop crying. "We were gonna get dessert. You up for it? Cake, ice cream, sugary goodness." She ended up giving him a small laugh before nodding her head.
Lizzie, Leah, and Seth sat on the small wall outside the dessert shop as Jacob and their dads went in. Leah was the quieter of the two while Seth was a great distractor talking enough for all three of them. He never stuck to a single topic and jumped conversations faster than Lizzie could really keep up with him, but she didn't mind finding amusement in his excitement.
Jacob came back out with two ice creams for Leah and Seth, a chocolate milkshake for himself, and a double frosting cupcake for Lizzie. She smiled up at him grateful for the sweet treat. He took the seat beside her as Billy and Harry stayed inside the two intently watching the interaction between their children and the Cullen.
