Elizabeth, better known as Lizzie, was a Winchester by birth but a Cullen by nature. Growing up as a Winchester was never easy for her; she couldn't remember a time when she wasn't decapitating some monster's head. But one accident changed everythin...

"How's Jacob doing?"
"Practically good as new," Lizzie replied.
She walked into the Cullen's home to find Emmett sitting on the couch casually flipping through a magazine. Like he had all the time in the world and Lizzie guessed he had and so did she. But more importantly, now that the newborn war was over everyone could relax again for the first time in weeks almost months.
"How's our new addition?" Lizzie asked, speeding off to the kitchen for a Sprite and a blood bag.
"Jasper's been doing his best," Emmett replied.
Lizzie came to sit beside him as she mixed her meal and soda together. She stuck a straw in the drink and put it between her teeth.
"She hasn't really said a word since the battle," Emmett carried on. "Esme can get a word or two out of her but mostly all anyone else gets is nods or head shakes."
"She's scared," Lizzie said. "She was almost slaughtered by the Volturi. She was tortured by Jane. Not to mention, Riley and Victoria killed her only to become a pawn in their game. She's probably also missing her family she is so young."
"Understandable," Emmett agreed. "I mean, it's not like when I turned and woke up to the face of an angel," he said, a dreamy grin on his face as he thought of the first time he saw Rosalie.
Lizzie shook her head.
"I'm going to go find Jasper and see if I can help," she said and got up from the couch.
"Be warned, Alice and Rosalie are on the hunt for you," Emmett called out before his sister could get too far.
Lizzie turned and walked backward. "Why?"
"Your birthday's coming up, baby Cullen, or did you forget?" Emmett smirked.
Lizzie's eyes widened and in the next second, she'd sped out of the house and into the woods trying to find Jasper.
"Scares the crap out of her every time," Emmett chuckled.
Alice blurred into the house with a shopping bag in her arms, she glanced around and honed in on her hearing but nothing. She frowned in confusion and looked at her bear of a brother sitting on the couch.
