Elizabeth, better known as Lizzie, was a Winchester by birth but a Cullen by nature. Growing up as a Winchester was never easy for her; she couldn't remember a time when she wasn't decapitating some monster's head. But one accident changed everythin...

The tv was turned onto the news station when Edward and Bella emerged in the living room of the Cullen house.
Another murder in Seattle. Another missing person.
It was getting ridiculous just watching it as Carlisle picked up the remote from the table and switched it off with a cautious sigh.
"It's getting worse, we need to do something."
"It takes more than one of our kind to do the damage they're reporting," Jasper spoke up, a hard tone to his voice. "Quite a few more, they're undisciplined, conspicuous-- "
"It's newborns," Edward finished quietly.
Lizzie scooted forward on the couch as Carlisle shared a look with her and Edward. Bella picked up on it and her curiosity spiked. "What? Like new vampires?"
"Like Dean," Lizzie offered as an example.
"Only much worse," Jasper told them.
"The first few months after the change. That's when we're at our most uncontrollable, vicious, insane with thirst," Edward explained.
"Something to look forward to, Bells," Dean said as he entered the room and sat down beside Lizzie.
He'd heard everything from his room upstairs and decided to join in on the conversation seeing as how everyone else was out hunting at the moment. Lizzie knew Dean didn't really give much thought to whether or not Bella should or shouldn't become a vampire, but that didn't mean he didn't care. Of course, he'd still warn his cousin that becoming a vampire was no picnic in the park unless that park was complete isolation.
"No one's trained these newborns," Jasper warned them. "This isn't random, someone's creating an army."
"An army?" Emmett asked and jumped up from his spot against the back of the couch. He was excited with a grin on his face. "Well, now we're definitely going to Seattle."
"Why are you so happy?" Dean questioned.
"Why not?" Emmett shrugged, still smiling which made a laugh leave Lizzie.
"An army of vampires," Bella said bringing them back to the topic. She was uncomfortable with the situation, scared for her family's sake, and worried for the Cullens but mostly Edward.
"Created to fight someone," Jasper stated.
"We're the only clan even close to Seattle," Lizzie reminded her family.
Carlisle looked to his youngest before clasping his hands together unhappily. "Regardless, if we don't put a stop to this then the Volturi will. I'm surprised they've let it go on this long," he sighed.
At the mention of the Volturi, Dean tensed. Lizzie knew why but didn't bring it up or say anything only offered her brother a hand he instantly took. She couldn't remember the past and because of it anything and everything didn't affect her a bit, but for Dean it was different. His memory was still perfectly intact and he had to live with the fact of abandonment, from both his father and mother. He liked to blame John for most things since Mary died, only for him to recently find out even though she was dead she was still alive in the world, choosing to leave him and her family behind.
"Maybe they're behind it," Edward suggested. "In Italy, I read Aro's mind. He wants me and Alice to join him and he also wants Lizzie and Dean for his mate's sake."
"Mary Volturi."
"You know her?" Dean asked, straightening up and looking at Carlisle.
He looked back at the boy but settled his gaze on his daughter. Lizzie had told him everything about what had happened when she went to Italy to find Edward, including the part about her birth mother being Aro's mate. The first queen of the Volturi. He would have been happy for Lizzie if only it wasn't under such circumstances and the woman wasn't aligned with such a person as Aro.
"Dad?" Lizzie said when he didn't say anything and when she could practically feel Dean's anxiety from beside her, she guessed it was worse for Jasper.
"Not personally," Carlisle finally said.
"He knows me and Alice will never choose him as long as our family is still alive and he's already guessed that Dean won't leave Lizzie's side while she won't leave ours," Edward told them.
"An army could solve that for him," Jasper said.
"I'm not letting anyone touch my family," Lizzie declared. "Not even the Volturi."
"It'll be alright, Kitty," Carlisle reassured, taking his daughter's hand and giving it a small squeeze.

To say Lizzie was confused when she came home after a shopping trip to Port Angeles was an understatement. She walked through the front door and into the living room to find Carlisle bandaging up Bella's hand.
"Oh my God, Bells, what happened?"
"It's just a sprain," Carlisle reassured as he watched Lizzie speed over to her cousin and inspect the damage he was trying to fix.
"Your boyfriend," Edward growled out.
"What?" Lizzie looked up at him, a furrowed brow showing him just how confused she was.
"It's not completely Jacob's fault, Edward," Bella said.
"What's not completely Jacob's fault?"
"He found out about me wanting to become a vampire and he didn't take it too well."
"And?" Lizzie pressed expectantly.
"She punched him in the face," Damon happily sung out as he leaned an arm against the doorframe.
"How do you know?"
"Leah wanted to go on a walk by the lake and we... " Damon smiled humoredly, "were just passing by when very human Isabella Swan over here decides it would be a great idea to hit a werewolf, a Quileute wolf might I add."
"Unbelievable," Lizzie muttered out. "I leave for a shopping trip of three hours and come back to find my cousin's hand broken by my boyfriend's face. Wonderful."
"Should have seen it," Damon smirked.
"Punching a werewolf?" Emmett grinned as he bounded into the room. He came up behind Lizzie, draping an arm across her shoulders as he fist-bumped Bella proudly. "You're gonna be one tough little newborn."
"Tough enough to take you on," Bella joked.
Rosalie was beside Emmett but then walked right out of the room at that comment. An angry aura suffocated Jasper as she sashayed past him and slammed the door closed behind her. Lizzie sighed, hoping that by the time she got to her room she'd have at least calmed a notch but no luck there when yet another door was slammed.
Eventually, she'd accept the fact. With time she had to realize that not everyone hated vampirism like she did. Frozen and never moving; that's what Rosalie would always tell Lizzie whenever they spoke about it. Like it was some sort of curse she'd never lift, but to Lizzie, it was nothing short of a gift. It gave her a family and a purpose to a new life, whereas if she'd stayed human she'd either be killing something right now or be the one getting killed.
