"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"
Lizzie woke up to her siblings surrounding her. Rosalie and Alice jumped on the bed which sent Lizzie bouncing up into the air before falling back down again. She giggled at their antics as she sat up and they immediately hugged her.
"Hey, save some of that for me!" Emmett called out.
He bounded into the room with Jasper and Edward calmly walking behind him. Rosalie and Alice smiled as Lizzie was stolen from them and dragged out of bed. She was suffocated in one of Emmett's bear hugs as he swung her around before setting her on the ground. If she were human she definitely would've been dizzy and lost her balance.
"Happy Birthday, Zee," Jasper said.
"Happy Birthday, Elizabeth," Edward said.
"Thanks," she smiled at them.
She stepped forward and hugged them both with Jasper and Edward's chins resting on her shoulders. Alice caught her mate's gaze and smiled a knowing smile. Jasper could sense Alice's happiness which in turn made him just as happy. Edward could read everyone's thoughts and they were nothing short of content, even Lizzie who usually felt annoyed on her birthday but this time it was different.
"I thought we agreed not to care about birthdays anymore," Lizzie said.
"You're not even a century old yet, baby Cullen," Emmett stated.
"Exactly!" Alice agreed.
"For you, we still do birthdays," Edward said.
"You have another 72 years of this," Rosalie calculated with a grin.
"And even then, we might keep the tradition up," Alice said, standing up from the bed. "We have new additions now. Dean will go through the same thing and so will Bree."
"At least I'm not suffering alone anymore," Lizzie laughed.
"Suffering? You call this suffering?" Alice crossed her arms. "I planned out the whole day. I was very considerate too. We have you for the day and the wolves have you for the night."
"How thoughtful, Alice."
"I know."
Edward rolled his eyes in amusement. Jasper held a smirk, and Emmett grinned widely, slinging an arm over Rosalie's shoulders as she stood next to him.
"Speaking of Dean and Bree," Lizzie said. "Where are they? And where's Damon?"
"Where do you think Damon is?" Emmett questioned.
"He's with Leah and Seth obviously," Alice sighed. "But he agreed to celebrate your birthday with the wolves tonight."
"Oh okay," Lizzie nodded.
"Dean took Bree out early this morning," Jasper informed. "They were bonding last night over SpongeBob and a TV show called Dr. Sexy, I think."
Lizzie laughed, covering her mouth with a hand. She never expected to hear the words Dr. Sexy come out of her brother's mouth and with his Southern drawl too.
