THE WIND PASSED THROUGH harlow's hair, braiding it into seemingly invisible knots. harry grabbed his sisters arm trying to pull her back from the edge of the side wall. despite harry's efforts harlow stayed in front of him, harry knew that she wouldn't let him stand in front of her. she stopped letting him protect her years ago.

harlow tensed up and walked backwards, bumping into harry, making her brother fall over his trunk. harlow fell down with him. before she could react, a purple triple-decker bud screeches to a half in front on them. on the side of the bus "knight bus" was written out with good letters. the door hissed open and a man with a pasty face looked out.

"welcome to the knight bus." he greeted. "emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. my name is stan shunpike, and i will be your conductor this evening." stan stopped when he realized the twins on the floor. "wha' choo doin' down there?"

harlow got up off harry's stomach which she had fallen on top of. she dusted herself off, "thanks for breaking my fall." she said to her brother.

"we fell over." groaned harry.

"wha' choo fall over for?" stan asked.

"i didn't do it on purpose." harry said.

stan eyed the twins suspiciously, then nodded slowly, "well, come on then. let's not wait for the grass to grow."

harlow looked around the decrepit bud, it had no seats, only beds. she watched an old disheveled wizard turn over in his sleep.

"take 'er away, ern." said stan.

"yeah, take it away!"

with a bang ernie shots the bud forward at rocket speed, making the beds slide. harry fell over onto the nearest bed and harlow fell on top of him once more. harlow rolled over onto an empty part of the bed and harry let out another groan as he watched the chandelier swaying above him.

"wot you say yer names were again?" inquiered stan.

"i didn't." harry replied.

stan was huddled in the corner of the bus, reading the daily prophet, he looked at the twins, "whereabouts you two headin'?"

harry hesitated and looked at his sister, "the leaky cauldron" harlow answered for him.

"that's in london-" harry began.

"is it now? get that, ern? the leaky cauldron. that's in london." stan grinned with sinister delight, showing broken and brown teeth.

harlow read the headline of the newspaper stan was reading, it read "ESCAPED FROM AZKABAN!" below, it was a moving photograph of a man. his face was sunken and long matted hair framed his face.

"who is that? that man." harlow's brother asked, taking the words out of her mouth.

"who is that?" stan scoffed, "that's sirius black, that is. don' tell me you ne'er been hearin' o' sirius black?"
