HARLOW'S SAPPHIRE EYES SCANNED over the crowd of people in the great hall. the voices behind her turning into background noise. her eyes settled on cedric, who was already looking at her intently. she smiled at him, he looked down and smirked before looking back up at her.
harlow's trance was interrupted by a slap on the arm, "ow!"
"were you even listening?" she asked.
"um yeah." harlow lied, her eyes returned to cedric who was laughing at pansy's slap. he motioned to her, nodding his head toward the exit. he got up out of his seat and said something to anthony before walking out of the great hall.
"no you weren't you liar." she rolled her eyes, "i was just explaining how professor snape completely fucked me over."
"yeah, that's great pansy, i'll be right back." harlow got up from her seat, following after cedric.
pansy turned to daphne, "that bitch."

harlow left the great hall just in time to see cedric turn the corner of the hallway, she followed after him curiously. she saw him enter the janitors closet and leave the door open an inch behind him. harlow walked into the closet and closed it behind her.
cedric pulled her close to him and left a kiss on her lips, "hey."
"hi." harlow blushed, she ran her fingers through his hair, "your hair is a bloody mess."
he grabbed her wrists and returned them down to her sides, he took in her figure that was under the light of the singular lightbulb that hung from the ceiling. she wore her hair natural, which was straight. her lipgloss was illuminated under the glow of the dim light, she looked irresistibly beautiful.
cedric tucked her hair behind her ear, "what are you doing tonight?"
"nothing." she replied after thinking for a moment.
he smiled at her, "that's good, because i'm taking you out tonight."
"oh, are you now?" she smirked.
he put his hand on her cheek, but only for a moment, "yes, love, i am."
"hm, i'll think about it." she joked.
cedric scoffed, "i'm taking you out on a proper date tonight, i've been planning it for a while now, so don't break my heart by rejecting me."
"i'll be there." she responded.
"good, meet me by the first floor girls bathroom at 7, we're going to sneak out to hogsmeade." he told her.
"sneaking out? cedric diggory i think you're becoming a bad influence." she laughed.
"if i recall," he planted a kiss on her neck, "you enjoy sneaking around."
