A little fluff for ya in this chapter *winks*

Roshi has explained to us on how to go beyond our limits, telling us that we will be applying it tomorrow morning.

"Now I have one more task for you three before we go inside to that wonderful smelling supper!"

Goku smiles widely at the thought of food. "Are we running?"

Master Roshi shakes his head and makes a noise that denies Goku's statement. He bends over to the ground and picks up a rock before beginning to write on it.

"Nope, it's a different type of test."

We watched as Master Roshi took out a sharpie and drew on the rock before showing it to us, revealing that he had written 'turtle' on it. Confused, GOku tilts his head and points to it.

"Are you going to eat it?"

Roshi's mouth drops open in shock. "No Goku!"

Winding his arm back, Roshi threw it far away and into the distance. Our mouth's fell open as we realized...

"Whoever finds that stone first gets dinner tonight."

As the boys raced off, I sighed and hung my head, already knowing I was going to be hungry tonight.

So... Krillin won but he cheated. But Master Roshi doesn't know that. So now Goku and I watch as they eat dinner, their slurps seeming extra loud to our growling stomachs.

But, it turns out that Launch used pufferfish in the stew for dinner. So even though Goku stomach and mine were growling, we ended up getting the better deal when Krillin and Master Roshi were both poisoned.

Hah, take that you cheating baldy.

Training under the Turtle Hermit in the morning was much different than I had expected it to be. I was expecting sparring drills and what not.

Instead, we carried milk jugs to houses by skipping and running and travelled over twenty miles. Needless to say, I was pooped.

The rest of the day consisted of dragging stones and what not to increase our strength.

Master Roshi told us that once we can move a large rock he will teach us martial arts.

This is going to take awhile...

Today is the day.

Today, we are going to move the rock.

Dragging Master Roshi out of the house, it is funny to watch his eyes bulge in his head as all three of us manage to push the stone a long distance.

Master Roshi looks hesitant but he promises that he will teach us.

Taking us to another part of the forest, he begins to go over basic fighting techniques before stopping a few sentences in.

"Is that all we need to know? You didn't teach us a lot." Krillin complains, causing me to laugh.

"For once I agree with the bald monk-" "HEY!"

Roshi shakes his head in amusement. "I can not teach you how to fight besides stances."

Our mouth's drop open in shock. "Why not?" The three of us say in unison.

"You need to learn your own fighting style. Forcing my style of fighting on you when that style might not work well for you will not help you improve."

"Alright, today we will be going over stances again as well as fighting techniques."

I raise an eyebrow at Roshi in questioning. "I thought you said you couldn't teach us that kind of stuff?"
