I DO NOT OWN DRAGONBALL; ALL characters and scenes belong to their respective owners, Akira Toriyama and Toei Animation. I only own the scenes and people not correlated into the canon series.

(y/n) pov

With a yawn I peeked my eyes open and jumped when I felt someone beside me. Realizing it's just Goku, I sigh in relief and shake him awake. He stretches before kicking off the covers, jumping from the bed onto the floor. "Morning'" I say stiffly with another yawn. Goku grins. "Mornin." He quickly puts on some different clothes, having no ounce of shame in nudity.

Embarrassed, I turn to go change in the bathroom but Goku stops me. "Why are you leaving to change (y/n)?" Face hot, I start to mumble about privacy. Goku scrunches up his face in confusion. "Why do you need privacy for changing? Doesn't everyone look the same?" Knowing I was defeated and seeing a valid point to his argument, I decided to just change in the room. I had a bra on anyways so it wasn't that big of a deal. What surprised me most is that Goku didn't seem intent on looking while I changed. He merely looked at the pictures around the room. Pulling a green t-shirt and some black sweatpants on, I felt much more refreshed and ready to tackle the day.

I give a small smirk to Goku. "How about some breakfast?" If anyone could move faster than Goku did just then, they would probably break the sound barrier.

"WEEEEE!" Goku calls out behind me, navigating nimbus through the air with practiced ease. Letting out a sigh of content of my own, I stretched my arms out wide, loving the feeling of the wind in my hair. The moment didn't last long, I quickly pulled my hands back in as a scowl touched my face. "Whatever" I mutter under my breath. I try to hide my excitement but am unable to take the happy glint from my eyes. Bulma scolds us from below. "Hey! Watch where you're going with that thing!" She yells, her fist waving at us menacingly. Goku and I merely shrugged before turning back forwards. Bulma lets out a shriek and her motorcycle flying up into the air before crashing into the ground, leaving our belongings and a disoriented Bulma on the ground. "How ironic" I mutter under my breath.

Stopping Nimbus, Goku and I hope off. "Are you ok Bulma?" I ask, my eyebrow lifted towards the wreckage. Bulma begins shaking. "Do I LOOK ok!?" Goku walks in front of her, picking up a dragon ball from the ground. "Look guys, it's glowing!" Bulma lazily looks over before she clasps her hands in happiness and takes another dragon ball into her hand. "That means we are really close now!" She says, putting her stuff back into her bag. I glance around before pointing to a spot on the horizon. "Look over there, I think it's a village." Goku and Bulma glance up before Goku pumps his fist in the air. "Let's do it!"

Driving/Flying into the town, it appeared almost deserted. "Where is everyone" I ask Bulma. "I'm not sure. Let me check my radar." She pulls out her radar and clicks the button on top, scanning it with her professional eyes. "Yep, the fifth dragon ball is definitely here." She looks around. "Something's weird here. It's too quiet. Maybe the village has been deserted." Goku shakes his head. "No, people are here, I can feel it." Bulma gets off her bike. "Are you sure Goku?" I nod at Bulma while gazing around. "He's right, there are definentaly people here."

I cup my hands over my mouth. "Hello? Anyone here?" Bulma and Goku follow suit, all of us calling for the inhabitants to come out of their homes. Goku points at a house. "I think I saw someone in the window peeking at us." "Freaky" I mutter. Jumping off of nimbus, I look at the radar in Bulma's hand. "There's got to be a reason they aren't coming out, and I'm going to figure it out." Goku says determinedly, jumping off of nimbus too.
