Chapter Twenty Eight

Michael's P.O.V ~

None of us were doing ourselves any favours sitting in Summer's house since the tour was post poned. So I decided to take everyone out. I had booked a spa morning for the girls, whilst us three lads have a coffee. Then we meet up outside the mall and go shopping together.

We arrived at the spa and said goodbye to the girls, heading to the café inside the mall. When we arrived, there wasn't any empty booths. I spotted one only with one person in and walked over to it.

"Excuse me, can we sit here please?"

"Sure lads, be my guest"

"The name's Daniel" he said in a thick local accent.

"Hi Daniel, I'm Michael, this is Cal-"

"I know who you guys are, ex was a huge fan" Dan replied

"Was...?" Ash trailed off

"Well was/is, I've not seen her in a while, I had to, erm, go away for a while" Ashton's mouth formed an 'o' shape. "Sorry about Luke" he added, changing the subject and sending us a fake sympathetic smile, it didn't look genuine though. We nodded in response.

"What can I get you guys?" The waitress broke the tension. I was about to order but Daniel interrupted.

"This is on me boys" I smiled at him

"Thank you Daniel" I replied, before ordering.

We just sat drinking our drinks and talking to Daniel. We found out quite a lot about his ex. He spoke about her a lot, but we never found out her name, but she sounded familiar.

"Thanks for the drinks Daniel, we best be going" I said, standing up.

"Please, call me Dan, I'll walk you out, where you heading?"

"Outside to meet our friends" Calum answered

"I'm heading out too, I'll wait with you guys"

There's something weird about this guy, but I didn't want to be rude and agreed. It wasn't long until the girls were across from the mall, and as soon as they saw us they froze. Victoria and Ruby both looked at Summer; she had her jaw clenched shut and she looked like she was gonna cut a bitch. They started to speed walk over.

"Daniel?! How the fuck did you get out this time?" She asked, shouting in Dan's face.

"You know this guy?" Calum and I asked in unison.

"He's unfortunately my ex, he got admitted to a mental institute shortly after we split" things started to click together in my head. That's why his ex seemed familiar!

"I didn't escape this time baby, I'm a free man, I've changed Summer" Summer slapped him clean across the face.

"That's for calling me baby - you have no right!"

She slapped him again

"That's for trying to start your bullshit so soon!"

And again

"And THATS for -"

Daniel kissed her, she pulled away instantly and slapped him, again.

"That's for trying to kiss me!" She screamed storming off into the mall.
