Chapter Twenty Three

Ruby's P.O.V~

'You were crying at the airport when they finally closed the plane door, I could barely hold it all in side -'

'ASHTON!' I cut him off 'you're not helping the situation' I added, he smiled at me apologetically

'Right, sorry babe' he frowned, kissing me 'You know if you girls do end up going to stay at Summer-Jane's, we can get you tickets for the Verizon Center'

'We'll let you know' I replied I really wasn't in the mood to think about concerts and what we were doing after the boys left. Speaking of the boys leaving..

'Ashton we've gotta go!' Michael called from downstairs.

'Coming!' He replied, grabbing his suitcase and going to the door, turning to face me before he left to go downstairs. He kissed me, it was quite a long kiss, but no tongues. 'I love you Ruby, hopefully I'll see you soon'

'I l-'

'ASH!'

'COMING!' He yelled back,

'I love you too' and he gave me a quick kiss before heading downstairs. I hugged all the boys goodbye and have Ash another kiss but this time on the cheek. 'Call us when you land?' I asked and they nodded

'I'll make sure we do' Luke smiled and they all left with a wave, closing the door behind them.

Silence.

It was around two hours later we got a text saying they were on the plane and around 8 hours later the phone rang.

'Hey guys!' I put the phone on speaker

'Is it hi or hey, is it hi or hey' they said down the phone, I mentally face palmed

'How was the flight?' I asked

'Long' Calum huffed down the phone

'Its not as long as the flight to Aussie so don't complain, Hood.' Victoria retorted earning a laugh from the other three boys

'The girls are gonna stay at mine!' Summer beamed and the lads sounded happy

'Yes! We'll get them tickets sorted for Verizon, it's our first venue' Ashton replied, I smiled and nodded then remembered they couldn't see me

'Great, we're getting the next flight into DC, we'll text when we've landed etc' I told them

'We'll get Josh to come around with the tickets, see you at Verizon?' Ashton asked and we cheered

'We love you boys!' We chorused, they replied with 'love you too' and hung up.

'We should go surprise them at rehearsals at Verizon!' Summer squealed jumping up and down, Victoria and I agreed, going upstairs to pack

Michaels P.O.V~

'How about we go surprise the girls at Summers? When they land and stuff obviously' I suggested, and the boys seemed keen. So when I got a text saying they'd landed the lads and i had decided to surprise them after rehearsals.

Rehearsals had just finished and we were about to leave for Summer's.

'Where you boys off to?' Our tour manger Josh asked

'To surprise the girls' I said and Luke explained in more detail.

'Okay well have fun!' He chirped

'Bye Devine!' We waved and off to the house we went.

When we arrived at the house no one was in, weird.

'Maybe they're still at the airport, it's worth a look' Ashton shrugged and we piled back into the car.

When we got to the airport the girls were no where to been seen.

'Lets have some food first, maybe we've just missed each other' Luke suggested and I dragged them towards to McDonalds. We stopped to take a few pictures with these fans who spotted us but thankfully it didn't turn into a mob because man, I'm starving.

Ruby's P.O.V~

We arrived at the venue and went to go find the boys. We walked into the first room we found.

'Oh hey Josh' I greeted seeing josh sat drinking Starbucks.

'Girls! You just missed them' he said

'Are you kidding me where did they go?' Summer asked

'Uhh, to go surprise you guys at the house' great. We're not there.

'Airport, they'd go there if we weren't at the house' Victoria stated. More great. We waved bye to Josh and got in Summers car and drove to the airport.

Only when we got to the airport the boys weren't here.

'Omg you're Michael Clifford's girlfriend' some girl came up to us with her friends and spoke to Victoria, rude, I happen to be-- er never mind Ruby. Now I'm talking to myself, great.

'Uhh, yeah? Have you seen the boys here? Were trying to surprise them' she told her, she nodded and pointed to McDonalds, surprise surprise, not. We said thanks to the girl and her friends and headed to the fast food place. Where the boys were indeed sat, fortunately with their backs to us. I put my hands over Ashton's eyes and Victoria did the same with Michael.

'SURPRISE!'

So drummer Josh is their tour manager :D only part of One Direction that's gonna be in this, plus he's not really a major part...
