Beside You

Chapter Eight

Michaels P.O.V~

I started to feel really nervous as soon as the words escaped my mouth. I felt a little better when Victoria grinned excitedly at me though.

'YES!' She almost screamed at me, I done a little happy dance in my head. I picked her up and spun her round and round, she squealed in delight.

'Mikey put me down!' She laughed, I placed her back on the step and leant in to kiss her, the kiss was short and sweet but it sure gave me butterflies.

'Are we gonna go in or are we gonna stand here whilst you gawk at me?' She laughed and I opened the door holding my arm out in front of me.

'Ladies first' and I followed her in. No one was in the front room so I made my way into the kitchen and found a note on the table

'Drove the lads and Ruby to McDonalds

'Grr how dare he' I frowned, Victoria looked at me confused 'they went to McDonalds without me' I stuck my bottom lip out

'Awh poor you how shall you live?' Victoria asked sarcastically

'Hey it's my favourite' I replied, sticking my lip out further

'I'll make Ash take you tomorrow' Vic claimed kissing me

'Yay! You're the best girlfriend ever!' I exclaimed.

'Of course I am!' She replied all sassy, kissing me again.

Since everyone was out, Victoria and I decided to lay down and cuddle on one of the sofas, which may or may not have included some making out.

'You really are beautiful' I complimented Victoria for the umpteenth time today, tracing patterns on her leg

'I know I am' she sassed back

'No, I really mean it' I said, looking down into her eyes, she smiled up at me

'I know babe' she replied closing her eyes and laying her head on my chest

'Tired baby?' I asked and she hummed in response, the vibration tickling my chest.

'Have a sleep babe' I told her, kissing her on the head' but she was already asleep, her breathing getting heavier.

I must of fallen asleep too because I was woken up by some whispering which I think was in front of me.

'Should we wake them up?' One voice whispered, I think it was Ashton's

'But they look so peaceful' the second voice whispered, this time female so it had to be Ruby.

'You've already woken me up' I groaned, rubbing at my eyes 'leave, before you wake Vic up' I lowered my voice.

'Meh too late' she whined, cuddling into my warm body closer

'We were gonna get some stuff from the apartment, so we could stay here for a week or so, do you want to come?' Ashton asked me. I nodded and moved from under Victoria, she hmphed at the loss of heat and stood up with me.

'I'll be back soon princess' I told her, pressing my lips to hers, letting them linger for a few seconds before pulling away. Victoria smiled up at me.

'Go, before I kidnap you' she laughed, sooing myself and the other lads out the door. We climbed into Ashton's car and he started driving the the apartments.

'What was that about in the house, hmm Michael?' Calum teased, I smiled thinking back to cuddling Victoria.

'I asked Victoria to be my girlfriend, she said yes obviously' I beamed

'Awh congratulations mate' Luke bro fisted me

'Yeah congrats' Ashton and Calum echoed from the front of the car.

'So what about you and Ruby, huh Ashton?' I saw ashton smile, dimples popping'

'We're just friends at the time being' he said 'but I really like her' he smiled

'Its obvious she likes you too mate' I told him, I was certain too, considering Victoria had told me.

'Hopefully' he responded, pulling up to the apartment.
