Danielle's POV
I take a deep breath as I walk into the record store with Brendon. I'm sure that the store was my favorite place besides home. "I'm gonna check some vinyls. You can grab whatever you want, I'll pay." Brendon says as he walks to the vinyl section. "Oh hey there, Dani!" I turn around and see Austin. He's a few years older than me and he works at the store. One day I'd like to get a job here. "Hey Aus. How are you?" I ask as I walk up to him. "I'm pretty good, what about you?" he asks with a smile. "Same." I say as I look for a Placebo CD. "Uh, did Frank tell you that there's a small gathering at his place tonight?" he asks. "Uh no, are you inviting me?" I say as I place the CD on top of the counter. "Kinda. Is Brendon okay with that?" "I need to talk to him." I say as I look for Brendon. "Hey, did you find anything you'd like?" he asks and walks towards the check out. "Yeah. Did you?" he asks and places his vinyls down. I nod as I point on the Placebo CD. "Great." he says as he pays for us. "Bye." Austin says before mentioning me to call him. "Bye Aus." I say and we walk outside. As he starts the car he turns the radio on and starts driving. "Bren?" "Yeah?" "Can I go to Frank's tonight?" I ask and look at him. "Uh, sure but please don't get yourself killed." he chuckles. "Thanks, you're the best." After fifteen minutes he stops the car and we get out. I get my backpack and the CD before going inside. "Is that a party?" He asks and raises an eyebrow. "Kinda. I can go, yeah? It's just Frank and a few of his friends. I know all of these people, don't worry I'll manage." I say and smile slightly. "Right. You're eighteen years old and you have a point," he says as he sits down behind the counter. "If you need me to pick you up or something just call me." "Thanks big bro." I say with a smile as I walk upstairs. I get my phone and text Austin like I promised.
Me: 'I can come to Frank's. What time does it start?'
Austin: 'That's great, Frank told me to meet him around five and that's in half an hour'
Me: 'Cool, I'll walk there'
Austin: 'Tell him I'm running a little late'
I lock the screen before changing my clothes and going outside.
