Chapter 22~ The meet up 

The week went by so slowly because Jason was busy and he didn't know when to plan our date so I was stuck in the House all alone but I guess, I get to take the chance to see Tyler's today. 

I stared at the phone that Jason let m use for emergencies and read the time. 6:30 

I still had time but I knew that Tyler would be there early and so I ran up to Johnson's room and climbed down the window that he always had unlocked. 

I was thankful that I decided to wear vans instead of high heels. 

As I safely reached the ground I checked if I got any dirt on my denim shorts and white tank top but thankfully they were good as knew. 

I walked away making up as many scenarios in my head as I could about being out of the house. 

Should I be going to by ice cream? 

No, I don't have any money on me... 

Met a friend on the way... No then they'd ask who it was...  

I went for some fresh air! That's it! I mentally rewarded myself and I skipped to the ticket booth and hopped onto the train. 

I was in luck that nobody came looking for a ticket. 

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and reached for it. 

I checked the identification. 

Jason. 

My heart dropped, I pressed answer. 

"Hello?" I said nervously. 

"Hey babe, how about we have that date? I called 3 hours early so you could take your time to get ready ill pick you up at 9." He declined 

Oh no, I wasn't going to be able to make it in time! 

I texted brodon. 

Tell ty that I can't make it. 

I hit send and waited for him to reply or even call but there was no respond. 

I guess I'm going to have to go... But he'll be there early and ill get him to drop me off... 

When the train stopped at time square, I jumped out and searched for him.  

There was no time for this honey!  

You should of just gone back and listened to Jason. 

One hour had passed, if I could find him, I could pull off last minute lie to cover-up to Jason. 

Ten minutes passed and I couldn't find him.  

When it hit 7:50, I decided to leave but I found him leaning against the wall next to a person with a melodic voice. 

"Tyler!" He didn't hear.  

"Tyler!!" his his head whipped across. I waved to him and he came over. 

"I thought that it was a rule that girls were supposed to be late" he smiled. 

"I'm in a rush, so lets talk really fast, can you drop me off?" I asked  

"I came in a train but I guess I could call for a car, so ill just call now" he spoke as we went to the nearest restaurant. 

"So" he began, "what are you going to do about that guy?" 

I didn't reply 

"You shouldn't be with someone like that, his a player, his going break your heart, his an asshole and very bad news, his very bad, you shouldn't get your self involved with someone like that." Tyler said trying to warn me of Jason but i didn't care I really liked jason. 

"Tyler I appreciate your concern, but I'm with Jason and his not like that" I said calmly  

"Don't start believing that his all good! I know so many girls that he played with!" Tyler said loudly anger dripping from his words what he said made me angry. 

" I don't care what they said and his not a bastard" I exclaimed. 

But I couldn't help but get scared what if Jason was playing me. 

I quickly put the thought aside, I couldn't show him that's his words got to me. 

"What time is it" I asked after a minute of silent. 

"Why? It 8:10?" 

"Shit im sorry we have to go" I said getting up in a hurry I was going to be late 

"But we just got here" Tyler exclaimed. 

"I'm sorry but Jason doesn't know I'm here he'll be home at 9 at plus we can talk in the car."I said as I grabbed Tyler's hand and dragged him along in a hurry. 

I tried to breath evenly and come up with lies that could explain my where abouts. 

I hate lying to Jason but if he found out he'll get pissed and god knows what he will do I couldn't loose him. 

The car was parked across the word the road I jumped in and looked in the mirror, I fixed my hair and started answering Tyler's questions.
