AS ALL OF District 13 crowded into the main lobby, Finnick grew nervous as President Coin stepped to the microphone. He had begged Katniss to add Sadie to the list of Victors to save at The Capitol, but luckily Katniss had already added Sadie to the list after her disruption with Caesar. Unlike Peeta, who had previously been to an interview and revealed what happened in the Quarter Quell and ordered a ceasefire.

"Good afternoon. Thank you for interrupting your schedules. They have already been adjusted to compensate for the delay. Please, check in with your unit supervisors when you resume work. I have an announcement for the citizens of 13 and our welcome guests from 12," Coin started, and Finnick took deep breathes as she spoke. "Katniss Everdeen has consented to be the face of our cause to help unite the districts against The Capitol. In exchange, I have promised several concessions. First, we'll assess all opportunities for the extraction of the Victors held hostage in The Capitol. Peeta Mellark," a yell of clamoring erupted across the hall at the mere thought of saving Peeta.

"Johanna Mason ..." Coin continued as Katniss walked over to Finnick.

"Finnick, I made the deal for Sadie, too," Katniss whispered to her friend.

"And Sadie Sterling. Once freed, they will be granted full pardon for any and all crimes committed against the rebel cause," as Coin finished, Finnick let out a sigh of relief despite everyone in the lobby shouting at their President in disagreement.

"Good. That's good, Katniss," Finnick replied with a breathy smile as Katniss returned it.

"If Katniss Everdeen fails to fulfill her duties, the deal will be off. Thank you for your attention. Please, resume your daily schedules," as everyone began leaving, Finnick grew anxious again. What if President Coin wasn't satisfied with Katniss' work? Would she be as cruel to leave Sadie in The Capitol longer?

It had been a few days since Katniss had agreed to be the Mockingjay, and Haymitch was already able to get her into action. They had decided that green screens and lines were not meant for Katniss, and she had to have a raw reaction to get the districts united. So, with a team of tv producers and a small squat group, Katniss was flown to district eight to show Panem the previously bombed district.
