No more "US"

Avelyn's Pov:

As soon as I heard those words from Jacob, I felt like my heart shattered into billions of pieces. "What did you just say? I think I misheard it like, I shall become someone's love. You are joking right? How can that be even possible. I will die at the thought of becoming others possession than yours. Did you just not hear what I said when I proposed you?" I all but shouted at him for saying those horrible words even before thinking once.

I know I told him I will do anything for our relationship. But sacrificing our love for some mission, No. I can't do that and I will not allow it to happen anytime. "No Jacob, I will not become someone's when all I think about is being your love for this life. We will think of any other way to catch Adrian. Please, don't make me do this. Please.. " I pleaded whilst hugging him tightly. 

"I love you Avelyn and I know how much I want to spend my life with you. I don't want to drag you into this criminal world but I am left with no choice.  I tried all  possible means to get him into my trap. None of those worked in my favor. Now, I want to use the last weapon I have, which is love. You are the only person I can rely on baby. I will not let anything happen to you. Once this mission gets completed, we will get married and will live happily ever after like you thought. Please Avelyn, do this for me, for us, for our future." he said looking into my eyes.

"How can I do it? I love jacob. Not some criminal. How can I live if I become someone else's person. I can't do it even it's just an act. what if Adrian thinks this is all real and loves me back and never let me go? what will I do? Will this be the end of our love life?" I asked my conscience.  

"I know it's hard for you. But, there's a saying right, when you love someone you have to make them happy even you die while doing so. He's also probably battling with himself for dragging you into this. Moreover, you are just acting as if you love him and make him trust you. You are not really gonna fall in love with that criminal" my conscience assured me.

"Baby, I know what you are thinking. I will never let anything happen to you. You will just have to enter into his life, make him to trust and love you. I will be with you guiding all along the way. Trust me on this. We can do it and its impossible for anyone  to not to love and adore you. He will be a fool to let you go. If not for the mission, I would never allow any man to even look at you, let alone Adrian. I know I am being selfish but this is the only possible way left for me" Jacob said trying to convince me once more. 

I don't know what to say and what not? I just want to be with Jacob. I just want to be happy with him. Oh god! Is is that hard for you to give me happiness for a while? Why do you always push me in such situations where I am left with no choice but to chose the hard way? If this is your way of testing my loyalty and love for Jacob, then I am ready to prove myself. I'll do it for us, for our happiness, our future.

"Avy, you made a choice of  making Jacob happy by making this mission successful and you have to believe in us. We will do it together, for our future" my conscience said supporting me.

"Okay, I'll do it. But, I am afraid Jacob. What if he finds out? what if I mess up everything? Will I ever see you again once I enter his house? what if he believes me for real and wants to marry me? Oh my god! what will he do, if he found out that I am a spy sent by you? He will kill you, he will kill both of us. No, NOO.." I hurriedly started saying but Jacob cut me off by saying "Baby, baby, relax. Nothing will happen like that. I will be there guiding you all the way right. Moreover, I will not let it come to marriage. We will do something if he plans anything like that.  You just have to be cautious when he is near you. Don't be afraid to talk back to him and fidget when you say something."

I just nodded not able to say anything and hugged him tightly inhaling his scent. " I thought of a way to enter you in his house. His  younger sister, Mia knight, is in need of a orthopedic doctor. she is wheel-chaired due to an accident that had happened 2 years ago. We can use this chance and if all goes correct you can easily enter his life" said Jacob.

"It's not that easy Jacob. He knows me, he will not believe me that easily" I told him and he looked at me questioningly as if asking me "why would I say that?". I took a deep breath and told him about the earlier events that had happened when I was organizing event for him on behalf of Clara.

"It's okay baby. You are a professional doctor and you can prove it to him easily if happens to come to that point. I will use my connections and make sure that your resume will reach him by tomorrow. Just be careful baby and don't show him your fears. Even your slightest fear will make him doubt on you and it will be hard for us to gather evidence against him. You have to develop friendship and make him trust you whilst searching for the evidences or loops behind his back. We must achieve this mission and we shall throw him behind the bars" Jacob said while  caressing my back with his palm. 

I just relaxed in his warmth for the time being almost forgetting about the adventures and risks I am about to face. Come on Avy, You can do this!!  Yes, I can. Maybe? I don't know. Sigh!!
