The drive home was arguably the scariest hour of Genevieve's life she drove so slowly that she could have gotten a ticket for disturbing other drivers, but she was so scared to hurt Harry at all or disturb him she'd happily pay the ticket.

Though she was sure once she parked that everything would be fine, pulling into the driveway she eagerly parked and got out from the car careful to not slam her door as loud as she usually would rushing over to Harrys side, she removed the entire carrier so he would be able to continue napping as long as possible the poor babe looked exhausted and she'd prefer him to have gotten all the sleep needed.

Genevieve gently placed the carrier on the carpeted living room so she could lock the doors and turn on the lights but the minute the light shined on the room she heard small cries erupt from the carrier, Harry clearly having awoken and not familiar with the new environment and very curious as to where he'd been taken to.

She rushed over and unlocked the latches pulling him out and to her chest rocking him gently with her again shushing him as he calmed down. Continuing her swaying she made her way to the kitchen putting on her kettle and pulling out a bottle and formula betting he was probably hungry for something nice to calm him further.

As she looked down, she traced his scar with her finger a frown on her face hoping he wasn't in pain from the lines covering his forehead. Taking him back to the living room she sat him on the carpet as he easily sat up looking around at the lounge and bookshelf's trying to scoot around and see what else was in the room.

She stood watching him become entranced with her little plastic animals she'd put out on the floor a night ago preparing for a child to come into her care. Harry grabbed the wolf and the deer playing with them like he was telling a story Genevieve giggled as he threw the rat away seemingly disliking the small rodent.

The kettle once again disrupting her thoughts she ran over to make Harry his bottle turning back to check he was still having fun with his toys seeing he added a small dog to his little world.

Elsewhere a young man still mourning the death of a woman he once loved sat at his desk facing an empty room of desks for the students to come. He breathed deep holding in his tears and resumed writing out all the inventory needed for the incoming year.
