They all look at me, dumbfounded. But I knew it was something to do with my observation and reading things deeper than what is on the surface. I have no doubt that this fool is in fact the journey of the Tarot Fool. So as soon as we were released from the vision-riddle-puzzle, I went to get my cards. Anya had asked the voice if there are any timings we need to keep in mind. The voice had said cryptically not right now. Well, yayy..
"So does it mean only one of us can solve this puzzle?" Ali asks.
"No. I clarified with, Ashley." At my raised eyebrows she says, "The Voice. So I asked Ash but she said that all of us can solve the puzzle together, or try to. Whatever that meant. There are no timelines yet. But I am thinking it will come soon. I am thinking that the point person would play a major role in solving the riddle, however. Like if this riddle is about tarot cards, then honestly none of us can make sense of it except Becs. And once she has broken it down for us, once she has given us instructions then we can go forward. I think that is what it is. We each become the 'point person' for each point-puzzle and others follow their lead for that." Ananya says.
Well yeah makes sense. I can only thank the Gods that there is not timing to adhere to for me.
I start shuffling my cards, and go through the riddle again.
"So talk us through it babe.." James says.
I nod and start. "The whole tarot is The Fool's journey. Every major arcana card is a step in his/her journey. Fool goes from gullible to secretive to unearthing secrets. Then goes through temptation and having all their beliefs broken. Because to let in the new, the old has to go. Finally the Fool becomes knowledgeable in a way where they can share their knowledge with the world. There is a whole lot of story there. But I am not going to bore you with it. Focus on the lines they have left behind their temptations and worry and their beliefs have trashed. That makes me believe it is after The Death or The Devil cards. We are meant to follow that card. There are only two cards that have someone balancing half on land and half on water. One is Temperance and it appears before The Death, Tower and Devil cards. So then we are left with The Star card. Let me take it out."
I find the card and place it on the ground so that everyone can see it.
A naked woman, with one knee on the grass and the other foot balancing in a stream. She's holding pitchers in each hand with water flowing out of them. One pitcher is over the ground and water flows onto the grass, forming smaller streams of water. The other pitcher over the river and water is flowing into it. There is a bright sun in the background, with seven smaller stars around it.
"So.... We have to find where this kind of painting is?" Liam asks.
I think back at the puzzle. "I think we have to look for this and follow from there. Come on. Let's start looking....." I tell everyone.
We all go in different directions. No part of all these murals resemble any tarot card, even remotely. But I am still looking. Just in case. It has to be here somewhere. Doesn't it?
After what seems like an hour, I hear Anya shout out.
"Becs! Come see if this makes sense....."
I turn around and follow her voice. She is closer. Thank God for that.
She is huddled close to a mural, watching something intently.. Xena is next to her.
"What did you find?" I ask her
"Look at this..." she points to the mural.
At first I don't see anything. But as I look closely at where her fingers are pointing, I notice a two headed dragon poised half over land and half over water. From one mouth it pours water on the ground and from another it pours water over the river. Everything is the same, except the figure. Instead of the naked lady, we have a two headed dragon.
