Chapter 11 ( Present)

Sunoo moved to his new apartment.

He found this apartment in the facebook.

Not gonna lie, It was very small compared to his condo.

As soon as he arrives at the place, He couldn't help but feel terrified.

I mean, starting a new life in a span like a month isn't easy.

He now checks the place thoroughly, So that anytime he finds something he doesn't like. He would be ready to pack up his things and find another apartment again. Again, it's his attitude of being (maarte)

It was quite congested that's the first impression he got from the place. However, he could only be thankful by downgrading his lifestyle, he could save a lot of expenses.

He relates to the famous quote "Money doesn't grow on trees"

As he settle himself at his own apartment. The anxiety slips back into his mind.

He didn't even tell Jungwon and Niki for he just thinks that too much is too much.

He just felt, he bothered them enough. Also he wants to be independent.

Realizing that in order for him to be independent. He needs to stop relying on his friends at every trouble he's facing.

Even how small or big the issue could be. Now he starts arranging the things that are heavy.

He called for the landlord's help.

Fortunately, He was available.

After moving things. He starts to unpack his clothes.

At this point, He is motivated and occupied. It was foreign feeling.

Breathing into an unfamiliar place.
The sceneries he isn't used to.

He just mumbled to himself "This is it Sunoo, You're starting a new life. You can do it."

After a long 3 hours of unpacking, arranging, and decluttering.

He is now settled. Everything was now settled.

He's thankful because there's water supply and electricity. Those were his main concerns in the first place.

The only bad side is he doesn't have wifi.

So he really needs to load his sim everyday to get data.

It was refreshing to feel.

Feeling accomplished and proud despite the emotional breakdown he had few days ago.

Now Sunoo already accepts the death of his mother.

He only wishes that his mother would continue guide him.

Now he's laying down on his single bed. After a few minutes, his eyelids seem to get heavy.

He then sleeps peacefully with a light heart.

Morning came, Sunoo is already pumped of what's about to happen next.

He listed things he wants to do.

He already applied for scholarship at his university. I mean, that's the only way he could ever study.

He really was hoping he could be one of the chosen scholars.

That's not the only thing he did.

He tried to find a part-time job.

While if the school expenses are taken care of the scholarship.

His daily expenses from food, apartment, bills, transportation, and even his wants is important.

Now he's trying to be service crew. A job that isn't too much for a student like him who needs extra money.

A convenience store accepts part-timer and is open for college students like him.

Since the store is also near at their campus, It just made his life easier and he wouldn't need to travel long.

He already submitted his curriculum vitae and he's interview is on tomorrow 10:30 am.

He just hopes that he can get the job.

He really wants the job right now.

He can't just rely from his friends kindness. 

And knowing he's already orphaned.

Pity will do nothing.

It's even better to take the initiative to fight.
