Monday came, It is the first day of his job.
He's so anxious because there's a lot of things he needed to learn.
Sunoo then prepares himself a breakfast with two sandwiches as his snacks.
His phone then rings notification.
"Sunoo, I'll be going now. Let's go there together? I have my bike here with me. I'l be there in your apartment like 5 mins."
Sunoo checks up on his phone and replied "Are you sure Jay? then I'll be waiting outside of my apartment."
Then Sunoo finishes up everything and waits outside.
After like 2 mins. Jay arrived.
Jay wore a blue helmet and gives Sunoo the pink helmet.
"Is this mine? You don't have to buy it for me Jay." Sunoo said.
Jay retorted "It's my sisters helmet but I borrowed it for you"
Sunoo then wears the pink helmet.
Jay is staring at him intensely. He looks so cute with the pink helmet
Jay thought "I'm sorry Sunoo but that's not my sister's helmet. It is really yours. I bought it for you."
Sunoo then rides the backseat of the bike and holds tightly at Jay.
Jay then pedals towards the store where they'll be working. It's like 10 mins from Sunoo's apartment.
The weather today isn't hot yet it isn't cold.
It's like a mix of day and night.
Like sun and moon.
They both arrived in the store and greets the person named Michelle.
Both of them are taught what to do. What's their job and the standard procedures. It kinda feels exhausting.
"Okay breaktime, i'll give you both 15 minutes." Michelle said.
Sunoo then proceeds to drink water and eats his sandwiches.
"Sunoo, are you eating right now?" Jay asked.
Sunoo agreed "Yes, do you want some?"
Jay happily said "then can you feed me?"
Sunoo just laughs and replied "No, dummy feed yourself, I got an extra sandwich here"
Sunoo then gives the extra sandwich to Jay.
"This is actually good. Make it for me tomorrow okay?" Jay pleaded.
Sunoo retorted "Hmmmm, In one condition. Take me home today with your bike"
Jay laughs "HAHAHAAHAA sure."
Jay thought to himself "Kahit everday I'll take you here and home (even if it's everyday, I'll take you home)"
15 mins passed
They are now back with Michelle teaching them the final touches on the store.
After the training Sunoo then rides Jays back.
It is a comfortable feeling. Sunoo thought that they'll be going home.
"Jay, where are we going? Are you going to kidnap and sell me?" Sunoo playfully said.
"No, dummy. If i ever decided to take you. I will forever lock you in my heart" Jay said while laughing.
"Sira (crazy), where are we going pala?" Sunoo replied.
"Wow, Conyo. Let's speak tagalog ha. Para masanay ka (Conyo = Mixed tagalog and english with a heavy foreign accent. Let's speak tagalog so that you will get used to it)." Jay said.
Jay added "Dito tayo sa may river, there's foodstand here kasi (let's go here at the river)."
Sunoo suddenly brightens up his eyes when the word "Food" comes into his mind.
They've arrived here at the river.
There is really a lot of Food stalls.
Sunoo then grabs Jays hands bringing him over.
Jay explains to Sunoo what kinds of food are in the food stalls. "This is kwek-kwek, tempura, fishball and sorbetes (foods mentioned are filipino street foods)"
Sunoo seems so excited.
His phone suddenly rings.
It's from Jungwon.
"Sunoo, where are you? Niki and I are coming to get you at your apartment" Jungwon said.
"Wonie, I'm here near at the River where there are food stalls. May kasama kasi ako. Pupunta ba kayo here?( I'm here at the river where there are food stalls, I have someone here with me, will you both be here?)" Sunoo said.
Jungwon retorted "What's with the conyo Sunoo? Hahaha but stay there, we're coming."
Sunoo then tells Jay that his friends will be coming.
"Jay, let's pick muna. Gusto ko kwek-kwek and sorbetes. (I want deep fried egg, and dirty ice cream) "
Jay decided to buy kwek-kwek and sorbetes for the both of them.
"Oh here's your food oh. Kainin mo yan ha (here's your food, eat it)" Jay said.
Sunoo nodding because his main attention is from the food.
"It's actually good, Jay. I'm glad sinama mo ako here (I'm glad you brought me here)." Sunoo said genuinely.
"Sure punta tayo here pag may time (Sure, let's go here if we have time)." Jay replied.
While they're both busy eating.
Jungwon and Niki finds Sunoo.
There he is munching.
"Bestie Sunoo!! We're here!" Jungwon said.
"Wonie, Niki halika kayo (come here)." Sunoo replied.
Jungwon decided to check the boy.
"Who's this Sunoo?"
"Ah Jay pala, nice meeting you both. Workmate and Friend ni Sunoo." Jay replied.
Jungwon replied "The feelings mutual. Anyway, what's with your food? diba you don't eat that kinds of food Sunoo?"
Jay thought at that moment that he's ashamed of how the gap between Sunoo and him is large. He already had a hunch that Sunoo came from a middle class family.
Niki then scolds jungwon "Wonie don't be like that. It's just food besides even though Sunoo is used eating tteokboki and mint choco ice cream doesn't mean he always need to eat it."
Sunoo retorted "It's okay. I'm actually saving now kaya budget muna sa foods. Both of you should try it (It's okay, I'm actually saving now that's why I need to budget for my foods)."
Jungwon and Niki couldn't help but to try it because of Sunoo's persuasion.
Jay decided to listen to them.
Even though he feels awkward how he brought Sunoo here at this cheap food stalls.
"Jay, It's okay. I love kwek-kwek and the sorbetes. Wala kang dapat ika sad alright (you don't need to be sad)." Sunoo reassured Jay.
After Niki and Jungwon ate. Jungwon opens up about Sunoo's personal life.
"So asan na yung dumb shit na boyfriend mo? (So where's your dumb shit boyfriend?) " Jungwon asked.
Sunoo's expression really struck them.
