Chapter 40 (Present)

After what happened yesterday.
Sunoo definitely feels good.
He already received the explanation he really wanted from the start.

He's already determine to pursue Jay.
He doesn't want Jay to think it's only him that is exerting effort between them.

He texted Jay and asked him where he is right now.

But It seems like Jay doesn't want to reply.

Sunoo made a plan.

He wants to make everything right.

Sunoo then goes to Jay's place.

"Jay? Jay? Are you there?" Sunoo asked.

But in no luck, Jay wasn't there.

Sunoo thought he might be in school.

So Sunoo went over there to check him.

He arrives at the school and goes to Jay's room.

There were just a few students because It's Sunday and probably they were doing their school projects in the school.

"Hi Fig, Is Jay here?" Sunoo asked.

"Uh, No Sunoo." Fig said.

"Okay, thanks." Sunoo said.

Sunoo then realizes something.

Jay might be in the River.

Their place.
Their safe space.
Their solace.

He hurriedly goes there.

Near at the River.
Sunoo couldn't help but to run.
The sun shining so brightly on him.
Made him pant heavily.
His face is glistening of sweat.

There at this moment.

He found someone.
Someone who is truly important to him.

Jay looking at the streams of water.
While the leaves falling and the birds chipping.

Sunoo then called out his name.

"Jay. My Dummy." Sunoo called out his name.

Jay faces Sunoo.

It is a moment they'll never forget.

Sunoo then runs towards him and hugs him tightly.

Jay just couldn't believe what happened.

He thought Sunoo decided to give up on him.

He assumed that Sunoo would chose Sunghoon over him.

"Bub, why are you here?" Jay said.

"I'm here because I chose you." Sunoo said.

"Then what about Sunghoon?" Jay asked.

"We met up yesterday and that was our final closure." Sunoo said.

"I don't know what to say Bub." Jay said.

"You don't have to say anything Dummy." Sunoo said.

Sunoo added "I'm sorry for everything. I made you feel like an option. I'm sorry if I hesitated to chose you. But believe me. I did not regret even for a second choosing you.

Jay replied "You are the best thing I ever had Bub. You gave another purpose in my life. I'm so happy that you got to be true to yourself. I've always wondered about us being a couple."

"You know Bub? I would give up everything before I'd separate myself from you and after so much suffering, I finally found unvarnished truth. I was all by myself for the longest time, so cold inside and the hurt from the heartache would not subside, I felt like dying. Until you saved my life." Sunoo said.

"Thank God I found you, I was lost without you. My every wish and every dream. somehow became reality. Bub, you brought the sunlight, completed my whole life
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude, cause I'm so thankful I found you." Jay said.

Jay added "Remember that I will breathe for you each day. Comfort you through all the pain. Gently kiss your fears away. You can turn to me and cry. Always understand that I
give you all I am inside.

Jay's words moved Sunoo's heart deeply.

"Will you be my boyfriend Park Jay?" Sunoo asked him out officially.

"Is this real? Like are you seriously asking me officially right now?" Jay shockingly said.

Jay added "Yes, Bub. I'm willing 100% to be your boyfriend. You can't take it back. We are now officially together."

Jay then hugs Sunoo and kisses his lips.

It is a moment. For both of them to truly be an official.

They would treasure this in their lifetime.

For them to be able to stay true to theirselves and be open to one another is a courageous story to begin with.

They are now sitting on the chairs as they look at the sceneries together happily.

Both are ecstatic and contented.

"Bub." Jay said.

"Hmmm." Sunoo replied.

"Just remember. I'll always be here for you if someone will wreck your serenity." Jay said.

Sunoo then looks at Jay and cups his face.

"Silly, No one can wreck my serenity because my serenity is none other than but You. You are my peace. My tranquil. My Jay." Sunoo said.

And that day ended with both of them sharing their intimate moments.
