Chapter 35 (Present and POV)

Few days has passed.

It's still the same.

Going to work, going to class and going back home.

But there's one problem.

Sunghoon keeps on making moves on Sunoo.

He is really determined to take Sunoo back.
Although they never had any closure but Sunoo's treatment for him is like a classmate.

Sunoo and Jay is still going on with their no label relationship.

But they barely go out because they've been both busy with each other's studies.

I mean, they're scholars.
They have to maintain their grades and prioritizing their relationship would just destroy their studies.

So it makes easier for Sunghoon to intrude Sunoo's space knowing Jay is busy.

Everyday Sunghoon would join Sunoo for lunch with his friends.

His friends would even tease them together and that they look good.

Knowing his friends didn't know the story about them, He just let them to act like that, just so he could avoid sharing his story.

Sunghoon would even hit boldly on Sunoo.

Most of his classmates is aware of what's happening between them.

He don't want to tell them that they were boyfriends before and Sunghoon cheated.

Because that will only create a gap on Sunghoon's part and will paint him in a bad light.

As much as he hate Sunghoon cheating on him. He is really over between what happened.

He just wanna put that past behind them and just forgive but not forget.

He could never forget that shit he made.

That will always carved an irreversible inflicted wound on his heart, his mind and his self.

Nowadays, Sunghoon also understood how
he wounded Sunoo.

It wasn't just a simple hello and goodbye.

He started a hello but left with nothing but pain.

As much as he want to explain and give Sunoo the answers he should've gave.

He wants to respect his wishes.

So what he's doing right now is to start at the bottom.

Even knowing there's Jay already.

But he still thinks that as long as Sunoo and Jay are not official.

He still has a chance to prove again.

Today's Sunday.

Jay and Sunoo are supposed to meet up at their usual place (River)

Jay bought flowers for Sunoo.
He even made some preparations on where to go after.

This is the day he will ask Sunoo out officially.

And Sunoo doesn't know any of that.

He just hope it would turn out well.

Jay then goes to the their usual place.

He's waiting for Sunoo to come.

He thought "Ghad, eto na. I'll ask him out. Would he agree? But it's better now than never."

Jay is so excited.

His heart fluttering imagining Sunoo being his boyfriend.

He never expected that he would be whipped to Sunoo's charms.

His eyes, his nose, his stares.

All of those things makes him go crazy for it.

And even if Sunoo won't agree still he made an effort.

There's a saying "There's always a second try for everything."

Jay could only giggle imagining Sunoo's reaction.

He just patiently waited there.

Patiently waited there.

Waited there.

Waited.

The rain maybe felt Jay's feeling that it started to rain.

Jay's now wet.

His clothes.

His flowers.

Everything is a mess.

He stayed there for a long time while raining.

Until he received a text from Sunoo.

"Dum, I'm sorry. There's an emergency. Sunghoon got sick and I was told he's the only one in his condo. I had to take care of him. Pls don't get mad." Sunoo texted.

After reading that message.

Jay gasped for air.

His tears glided into his face.
Just like the rain.

"It's always Sunghoon right. It's always been him." Jay said.

Jay didn't reply at Sunoo.

He really was upset with him.

After a few hours of still waiting.

He decided to home like a wet puppy.

Turning off his phone.

The pain he's feeling.

The insecurity he's having.

It all came back to hurt him twice.

Not even twice but thrice.

(Flashback to Sunoo's POV)

Sunoo just prepares himself to dolled up.

He is meeting Jay in like an hour to their usual spot.

He's excited because it's been a like a week since the last date.

He really wants to be with Jay.

But that ended like a blink.

"Is this Kim Sunoo, this is a friend of Sunghoon. I may have to ask you to visit his place because he's sick right now and he's just alone at the moment." Someone texted him.

Sunoo texted back "Where are his friends? Can't they take care of him? His parents."

that person replied back "I texted some of his friends but no reply and his parents are somewhat of complicated situation."

Sunoo just couldn't believe that he has to chose where to go and who to sacrifice.

But the reason why Sunoo chooses Sunghoon is that he already experienced how he lost his mom.

He doesn't wanna experience that kind of thing again.

Even though Sunghoon has wronged him for many reasons still the bond they've shared is the sole reason he wants to go.

As much as he doesn't want to admit but he hates going to Sunghoon's place because he felt he's going to make a big mistake.

I mean, He left Jay for god sake.

He left him there without any prior notice.
