I woke up and felt rain on my face. I curled up in a tighter ball and went back to sleep. I felt someone tugging on me.
"Ugh, for the love of all things tolerable. Irena, Get up!"
"five more minutes..." I mumbled.
"Is she always like this?"
"yup. Irena, get up." the person tugged me into a sitting position. I stuck my tongue out at them and stood up and opened my eyes. I was not surprised to see that it was raining hard. living in the woods as I do, I had gotten used to the rain, so I could see almost fine. I looked around. Most of the dwarves were mounting their ponies. Some were already on. when they all had mounted, Bilbo asked
"Are you sure you don't want a pony?"
"I'm fine, thank you though."
"Iri, get on my pony." Kili said. "Now."
"Nu-uh. your gonna have to make me." I said. He proceeded to reach down to grab me, I dodged.
"your more stubborn than me!" Kili grumbled.
"More stubborn than a dwarf? Is such a thing possible?" I joked and winked at him.
"Let's get a move on!" Thorin yelled over the rain. there was a loud thunder crack.
"How? I can't see a thing in this storm!" Fili said, but started moving anyways.
"How is that a problem?" I asked.
"We might slip off the edge of the cliff, and fall to our dooms." Kili said.
"ooo! or we could jump off it! Eh? Eeeeh?" I said.
"What would happen to our ponies then?" Kili asked, knowing I have a soft spot for animals. I stopped and thought for a moment.
"Fiiine..." I pouted playfully. "I'll stand by the edge, and as long as you don't pass me, you should be fine." I suggested, coming back to the original problem.
"But you might slip and fall." Fili said.
"It would be more likely that I would jump." I said, and quickly moved closer the the edge. after a while, we reached the other side of the mountain, and the others where following a small, overgrown path through a forest.
"Mr.Gandalf? Can't you do something about this Delhue?" Dori asked, having given up on using his cloak as a shield from the rain.
"It is raining, Master Dwarf-" Gandalf replied.
"No kidding!" I interrupted, cutting off another branch in front of the overgrown path.
"-and it will continue to rain, until the rain is done! If you wish to change the weather of the world, than you will have to find yourself another wizard!" Gandalf said.
"Are there anymore?" Bilbo asked.
"Anymore what?" Gandalf questioned.
"Wizards." Bilbo replied.
"There are five of us, The greatest of us, is Saruman the White. Then there are the two blue Wizards, and do you know, I have quite forgotten their names." He said.
"Who's the fifth?" Bilbo inquired.
"that would be Radagast the brown." Gandalf responded.
"Is he a great wizard?" Bilbo asked. "Or is he more like you..?"
I laughed.
"I think he is a great wizard.... in his own way." Gandalf said. "He's a gentle soul who prefers the company of animals to others. He keeps a watchful eye over the vast forestland's to the East, and a good thing too, for always evil will look to find a foothold in this world."
