Well would you look at that?

"Adora! Stop!" A teacher called out. Adora widened her crazy eyes and smiled so wide it looked maniacal. The adrenaline pumped through her veins, waking her up like a cold shower. It was electrifying to run down the halls with people staring at you wondering 'what the fuck?!'

Her hands held a flash drive, filled with vital information about the codes to access the unblocked wifi. See, at their school, they had a security system that blocked all websites like Facebook at school. Adora (with the help of Entrapta) had managed to download all the information to get by the security passwords. Except, a teacher had seen them with the flashdrive in the principal's laptop.

"Sorry! I do justice for the people, your government is corrupted!" Adora yelled behind her in fluent anarchy. It was their fault anyways for blocking Facebook. Stupid fucking math, she wanted to just look at memes.

She then pocketed the flash drive and put her hands up to make a clenched fist, a symbol of conquering, as she ran the whole time. The teacher saw the symbol and stopped. He rolled his eyes and groaned.

"You're going to end up expelled!" He called after her.

"WHAT? NEVER" Adora sarcastically said. She wouldn't be expelled, because she was the star, the She-ra of Bright Moon High.

"Thats a little cocky, isn't it?" The teacher smirked. Adora noticed he stopped running, and stopped herself to save energy.

Turning to face him, she reached in her pocket and grabbed the flash drive tightly with her hands securely.

She almost could hear sirens. At least thats what it sounded like as the teachers came swarming from every side, emerging from hallways and rooms. Her stomach fell into a deep pit, making her feel the need to throw up. Something felt off. They circled around her, leaving no escape for her to run.

Adora felt sick, the weight of the situation finally sinking in. This was serious.

The principal emerged through the crowd with her arms crossed.

"You." Principal Angella said. "In my office, now"

"I swear to god I never actually thought I was doing any harm" Adora whispered shamefully, her head hung low. She didn't like disappointing the people she actually cared about. That was the thing with Adora, she had no shame, but when people spent their time caring and worrying for her she felt guilt when she fucked up.

Angella sighed and leaned back in her seat, crossing her arms once again. A look of motherly concern came upon her face as she gazed at Adora.

"Listen, child, I get that its been hard for you, with all thats been happening.... but this..." she gestured to Adora.
"This is not the behavior I want to see from you. If you werent our best student, you would've been expelled by now. Kids look up to you, I need you to show them how to be respectful"

Adora looked down in embarrasment. She inhaled and spoke.

"With all due respect, this brainwashing system we call school; teaching us kids to stand and pledge loyalty to a country that doesn't give justice. I think its a bit twisted isn't it? What kindergardener needs to memorize a pledge of loyalty? Thats brainwashing the youth into blindly supporting a country. Teach them how to change it for the better, not this stupid blind loyalty by preaching how great it is"

Angella blinked.

"What does this have to do with what you did?" She asked, unimpressed.

"EVERYTHING!"

Adora stood up dramatically and began playing the soviet union theme on her phone.

"Its OUR wifi"

Angella face-palmed, exactly like a mother would when her child did something stupid.

"No. No. We paid for the wifi, Adora, dear."

Adora turned up the Soviet Union theme volume and dramatically raised her arm up in triumph.

"OUR tax money paid for the wifi"

"Adora, sweetie. I work at this school"

"OUR school"

Angella stood up, placing both hands on her desk in exasperation.

"You're expelled."

Adora recoiled back.

"What?" she said dangerously calm.

"BUT." Angella continued. "Lets make a small gamble between you and me. If this information about our gamble gets out then you're automatically expelled for good, but theres a basketball game we absolutely have to win against the Horde. If you win that game, then I'll think about ripping up those expellation papers"

Angella sighed, turning her head out the window.

"Our school has a very good reputation, and losing against a school like The Horde...? Well... Our funders would not think highly of that..."

Adora remembered the bet she had with Catra. Things just got a whole lot more complicated. Adora had to go all out for this game to win against the Horde, meaning she'd have to score as many points as she could. The Horde was one of the best basketball teams in their state, so slacking off and letting Catra score more points would make them lose.
She knew that she was better than Catra at basketball, and she needed to be the best to win for the team.

Now, if Catra won the bet, Adora would be expelled. But If Adora won, she would have to go to the dance with someone else and she didn't really want to, especially now that her and Catra were a sort-of item. She didn't know what to do, she needed solid advice, and time to think.

Looking at Angella with a nod she ended the conversation

"Thats no problem. I won't disappoint you" Adora stated, turning to leave.

Angella nodded back and made a gesture; zipping up her lips and throwing away the key.
Adora nodded, understanding the message perfectly. Keep this a secret or else.

The two parted ways at the door; Adora heading towards the main entrance, while Angella went deeper into the office.

Great... Another thing to worry about...

Catra shoved both hands in her pocket as she walked up to the school basketball court. It was 8 PM, and she had waited until there was no way anyone would still be at the school. In her backpack was a basketball she has stolen from Dicks Sporting Goods, and she felt the ball press against the seams of the bag. It made it uncomfortably push into her back, but she knew she had to win the basketball game, she couldn't stand the thought of Adora going with Huntara to the dance. It made her nauseous. She still didn't quite understand her feelings for Adora, but she knew that girl made her heart feel the way she felt going down a steep drop on a rollercoaster. Her heart rapidly beat in her chest, her mouth went dry, and all she could think of was the curves of her fit body.

Catra yelped, catching herself in the thought before she continued visualizing Adora. Her cheeks furiously blushed as she desperately grabbed the ball from her bag, trying to focus on practicing.

She dribbled, running up to the net and throwing. But her mind couldn't concentrate, she couldn't stop thinking about the kiss her and Adora shared. She wanted it to happen again. And again. And again. She thought of grabbing her and pulling her into her, kissing a long deep kiss.

Catra shook her head violently, trying to shake the thoughts away. But it was too late, her heart ached. She realized now that she missed Adora, and the pain was increasing. Catra threw the ball effortlessly away from the court, turning and running in what she assumed was the direction of the Orphanage Adora stayed at.
