Today's the last day. It's nearly time for the final feast. Obviously, it's a shame that Slytherin has won the house cup but it should still be fun. The other good news is that Harry can come as he has recovered. Inside the Hufflepuff common room, everyone is packing. Because it is summer, this includes me. Luckily Hermione's parents are still happy to let me stay with them, the only thing is I've never spoken to muggles before so I'm nervous about doing something wrong. Carefully I pack my bags, Hannah and Susan come over and help me.'Can I ask you guys a question?' I hesitantly say.' Sure.' Both girls instantly answer.'I know you're both half-bloods so I thought you were the best people to ask...what are muggles like?' After I have said this I feel like I may have accidentally offended them but luckily they smile.

'Don't worry it's just like talking to witches and wizards.' Hannah assures me.

'Hannah's right except of course, you have to explain the wizarding world in more detail.' Susan adds.

These comments make me feel less nervous than I was before however I still feel butterflies as I will be staying with strangers.

Once we are packed my friends and I go to the great hall for the feast. Slytherin colours fill the room. If only another house had won. Looking over at the Slytherin table, I see Draco and his friends gloating. I wish any of the other houses had won. Chatting to my friends I wait for the feast to begin. After a few minutes, Dumbledore starts to speak. He says that he has some last-minute house points to award. Hermione and Ron are given 50 points each and Harry is given 60 points, the room goes tense, Gryffindor and Slytherin are in joint first place. Then Dumbledore gives 10 points to Neville Longbottom, due to the fact that he stuck up to us. The room fills with excitement as Gryffindor is now in first place. Noice fills the room however Dumbledore quickly silences everyone.'I have one last set of house points to award. Sometimes we have to leave what's familiar so that we can do what's right, not many people would be able to do that but this student was. That is why I am giving (Y/N) (L/N) 75 points for not only making her own decisions in these recent events but for also never doubting her own values no matter what other people may have told her.' I am overjoyed. Because we were in last place, these house points obviously didn't mean that we won the house cup but we did beat Ravenclaw. (no disrespect to anyone in Ravenclaw, I just wanted to give the reader a small victory) Everyone in the great hall stares at me. Most of them are smiling, though some students at the Slytherin table are glaring. The rest of dinner is amazing as usual, it's weird to think about the fact that this is the last dinner we will have until after the summer holidays. For the first time ever I think that I will miss my friends. In the past, I have always been glad to leave people and not look back. This time however I am genuinely saddened by the fact that I will not be able to see them for the entire summer. Obviously, I will still be seeing Hermione so at least I won't be completely friendless.

After dinner, everyone including me goes back to their dormitories to collect our bags. Once we have done this all of the first-year students leave the school and wait for the boats so that we can cross the lake and catch the Hogwarts express and travel back to Kings Cross Station.

Like on my journey across the lake to Hogwarts, I sit with Hannah and Susan. I am so glad that we have been friends for the whole school year. Smiling at the thought, I start to chat with my two closest friends. Just think on my first day I was worried that I'd never get a chance to talk to them again.

As before, I loved the boat journey. Now it's time to get on the train. Hannah, Susan and I find a compartment and sit down. After a few minutes I see Cedric coming over.'Do you mind if I join you?' He asks.'Not at all.' I respond as Cedric sits down next to me. Emotionally, the four of us reminisce about our year and how amazing it has been. Comparing this journey to my first makes me even more glad that I am in Hufflepuff. As I know that if I wasn't I wouldn't have met such amazing people. If I had been sorted into Slytherin like I was once desperate to be I would have been stuck with Malfoy and his minions. When we are about half an hour away from London Harry, Ron and Hermione come and stand outside the door of our compartment. Introducing them to my three other friends gives the compartment a whole different atmosphere. Luckily everyone seems to get on really well-meaning that it is not awkward. Hermione tells me more about her parents. Apparently, they're dentists, which Hermione informs me are like muggle healers but for teeth. Obviously, I am still nervous about meeting them but I'm glad that I know a little bit about them. As we approach the station my friends and I say our goodbyes. After everyone exchanges addresses, Harry and Ron give me a quick hug, Hannah and Susan also hug me but the hugs I share with them are much longer as we are obviously closer. Expecting a similar goodbye from Cedric, I hold out my arms, however, he does something that takes me by surprise. He kisses me. Cedric Diggory kisses me. Only on the cheek of course but a kiss is a kiss. Most girls would be elated however I see Cedric as an adoptive older brother and furthermore I like someone else. (even though I really shouldn't and if anyone found out who it was they'd tell me to stop being so delusional). What do I do?!

'Don't worry.' He quickly says 'I meant that in a purely fraternal way.'

Sighing with relief I laugh. I would've hated to have had to hurt Cedric's feelings. He hugs me tightly and makes me promise that I'll write to him every day and says that we should arrange to meet up at some point in the holidays. Smiling I agree. As this is happening, I can see Malfoy glaring but I choose to ignore it. He's not worth my time. But what if he's jealous? I don't care! Do I?

*************************

After we have all said our emotional goodbyes, the 7 of us leave the train. Hermione then leads me to a kind-looking couple and then hugs both of them. Logically, I make the correct assumption that these are her parents.'Mum, Dad, this is (Y/N). (Y/N) these are my parents.' After Hermione has made these introductions, I awkwardly smile and wave as the couple give me a kind look.
