Summer is great as usual. Slowly I think that I am getting used to the muggle world. Hermione's friends all seem to like me, and with Hermione's help, I think I am beginning to fit in with the group. School questions are always awkward as I can never remember all the complicated details about muggle schools. In all honesty, they sound rather complex compared to Hogwarts. Luckily Hermione tends to answer the school questions as she knows it's an area I struggle with. On the other hand, I am starting to learn about celebrities even though some of the stuff I say is apparently 'outdated'; however, in this case, Hermione is in the same situation as me, considering that neither of us can use muggle technology while we're at Hogwarts. We tell her friends that the school we go to has bad 'reception' of 'wifi'. But, according to Hermione, it technically isn't a lie. During the evenings, Hermione and I watch TV; it's even better than I remembered it. I love the muggle world. Mainly because it's somewhere where I'm not instantly known as the witch who two bigoted murderers disowned; in the muggle world, I am my own person; nobody knows about my family here. Furthermore, Hermione's parents are amazing, they treat me like a daughter and Hermione, and I act like sisters. Finally, it feels like I have a family that I don't feel constantly afraid of, and that's the best feeling in the world. When I read about the nutritious mirror of erised, I remember wondering what I would see. Now I know that this is it. This is what I most desired, and now I have it.

Last day in the muggle world until next year. It feels awful to say. Of course, I love Hogwarts, but I'll miss the muggle world so much. When Hermione and I are about to leave, her parents ask me something which makes me smile from ear to ear.'(Y/N). Would you like to stay with us over Christmas?' Obviously, I say yes, hugging them both tightly. Before we go, Hermione's parents set their camera onto 'timer mode' and take a picture of the four of us together. Hermione's mother then makes the last day even better by saying:'We'll have to get this framed.'That statement fills me with joy; the Grangers have accepted me, and it seems like they want me to be part of my family.

Unfortunately, when we arrive in the wizarding world, we receive some news that definitely puts an end to my good mood. Death eater Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban. This means everybody is in danger, especially Harry.

Trying to forget about Sirius, my friends and I board the train. Seeing that Hannah, Susan and Cedric have saved me a seat, I decide to sit with them. At the of the journey, I try to stay optimistic about the year to come; however, about halfway through, everyone can tell something is horribly wrong. Suddenly the train stops and everything goes cold. Everyone feels a dark presence as all hope seems to leave the atmosphere. Due to extensive reading, I know exactly what's happening. Without thinking, I mutter.

'Dementors.'

It turns out that I'm right. Outside the window, we clearly see the dark figures.

Finally, we get to Hogwarts. After the traumatic journey, I just want a peaceful evening. Unfortunately, however, everything just gets worse. As I am about to get onto a horseless carriage with my friends, someone holds me back. Turning around, I see Malfoy. Viciously he whispers:'Oi blood traitor. You said: I will agree to marry you the day that someone escapes from Azkaban. I'm guessing you've heard about Sirius Black.'
