I walk back into the hall after calming down from my frustrated and drunken state.

Why was I so angry?

"Hey Kayla are you okay?" Asked Connor.

"I don't know," I told him. Walking straight past him. I was trying to find Sam.

Before giving up I walked passed the bathrooms, and there was Sam. He was still talking to that girl. I could make out her features now in the dim blue light above. She had long black hair, which was curled to perfection. Her dress was patterned black with lace covering the majority of it. The red tinge of lip stick was prominent, even in the distance it stood out like a fire engine. She was simply stunning.

"Sam?" I say just loud enough to him to hear.

"Oh hey Kayla, where did you go?" He asked.

"Come here?" Is all I can say. He walked towards me without a word.

"Why did you just ignore me like that before?" I asked, getting a little frustrated again.

"I was talking, Kayla," Sam told me.

"Why have you been talking to that girl all night?" I ask. "Why didn't you come and find me?"

"Um?" Is all he could say. "What did you do?" I ask him getting red in the face. I can tell something had happened because he was looking extremely clammy and he's cheeks were redder then usual.

"Nothing," he swears.

"Don't lie to me Sam," I test him.

"I would never," he tells me.

The girl had walked off by now.

"I love you too much," he said stepping towards me. He's height over powering mine. I look up into he's eyes as he wrapped he's arms around my waist.

"I love you," I smile pressing my head against he's chest. "I love you too," he said as I could feel he warm breath down my neck.

It was fairly cold out, which was expected as the autumn breeze was upon as. Beanies and cardigans where a was have fashion item.

I got my expectance letter to the local community collage last week and I'm expected to start in the winter.

"Sam what are you doing?" I ask laughing.

"I'm making you breakfast."

"Why is there pancake mix on the ceiling?" I ask laughing hysterically.

"It's a new way of cooking," he told me. "I learnt it on a a show called 'The top 10 worst chefs in the world',"

"Does that answer your question?" He asks as I watch the soggy mix drip from the ceiling. "It sure does," I tell him.

"I start classes tomorrow," I tell sam.

"Oh nice."

"Wait? What for?" He asked looking clueless.

"For college?" I tell him. He should know that I've got college. He hasn't really been himself lately. Ever since my birthday he's been sort of, spaced out. I hope I haven't done anything wrong.

"Yes, that's right. Sorry I haven't really been paying much attention at the moment."

"What do you mean? What's wrong?" I ask.

" I don't know and nothing," Sam protested looking worried.

"Are you sure?" I ask again.

"Yes Kayla I'm fine," he raised he's voice. Wow he's never talked to me like that.
