Chapter 7: Why?

"I'm not getting in that car, before you explain yourself Sam" I stubbornly tell me, crossing my arm and remaining on the seat on my own car.

"Well-" he was cut off by the sound on a car entering the car park. How could possibly be coming here at this time of night.

"Well I, I, I don't know Kayla. I felt like you have been getting so distant and I just felt so lonely" he explains.

"You're the distant one, you hardly talk to me, and when you do you yell at me and tell me to go away" I tell him.

"This morning was a great example. You were out all night, and I get you up to move your car and you acted like the world was ending" I continue.

"Are you getting in the car or not" he changes the topic.

"See?" I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Jump start my car" I tell him.

He walks to the back of his car to get his chords, he return with a nothing.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"They're not there" he tells me.

Great.

I don't want to go home with him I want to drive myself to my mums house. Why didn't I call my mum? Oh yes she's on a date tonight.

"Shit" I say out loud.

"I'll walk" I tell him.

"No you're not walking!" He tells me.

"Yes I am, now leave" I angrily tell him.

"You get in the right now! I'm not letting you walk home in the dark" I tells him.

"Why not?" I ask.

"You have broken my heart, I may as we'll walk home" I tell him, crying .

"Kayla" he says realising the hurt I am feeling.

"Go away Sam. I don't even know why I called you. You were horrible this morning to me. Do you even feel bad?" I ask tears streaming down my face.

"Of course I do Kayla" he pleads.

"Goodbye Sam" I tell him, locking my car and walking away from both cars.

He kept yelling my name but ignored it.

He didn't even run after me. He just got in his car and left. Thinking about that makes me cry even more. He didn't even fight for me, for us.

That's when I thought it was over.
