"ADHARA CASSIOPEIA BLACK! SIRIUS ORION BLACK! GET HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" their mother, walburga's, voice almost roared throughout the house.

adhara and sirius instantly came walking down, as fast as possible without running as they knew it'd get them in more trouble.

she huffed, once they reached the bottom of the staircase, and grabbed them both by the ears, before walking into the living room, "honestly! we're almost late as it is, and if we are late and i'm stuck with you two for the rest of the year, i'll make sure you hear about it." she snarled.

"yes mother." they both looked at the floor, before glancing at each other, the same smirk spread across their faces as they remembered what they had previously done..

~~~
adhara and sirius had sped off towards the hogwart's express the moment that their mother had told them to stay out of trouble. they always tried their hardest to avoid as much interaction with their mother, and father sometimes, as possible - but, it was rather difficult, given that they all live in a house together.
adhara grabbed her brother's hand, while they were looking for a compartment to sit in, as she noticed an empty one, "sirius! here."
they entered the compartment, and placed their bags on top of the shelves, which were above the seats. adhara sat on one side, and sirius sat on the opposite, both sitting by the window.
"i feel bad for reggie." adhara spoke, unexpectedly.
sirius turned away from the window and snapped his head towards his sister, "why?"
she sighed, "well- because he wanted to come with us, but he can't. but he's goin' be left at home with mum all year, and merlin knows what she'll do if she gets annoyed with 'im."
"don't worry. addy, she likes reggie more than she likes us."
she shrugged, " i s'pose."
adhara stood up and walked over to the compartment door, opening it when sirius spoke up.
"where are you going?"
"going to find the toilets." she simply replied
"oh."
she left the compartment, and walked down the corridor of the train. she walked past around six or seven more compartments, before seeing a door with a sign on it saying 'girls lavatory'.
adhara didn't actually need the toilet, she just wanted to make sure that she looked alright. after all, it was her first day at hogwarts - and she wanted to make a good impression, because if she didn't and her mother got word of it then the howlers she would receive would drive her mad before her parents did.
i hate my hair like this adhara thought it just hurts. i don't understand how mother has her hair like this all day
she took her hair out of the high bun that it was already in and shook her hair to get it to naturally flow, hoping that her natural curls would come back, even after her mother had used a straightening spell on it. she waited a few moments for her hair to get curly, and after it didn't, she was about to leave when one of the toilet stalls opened.
she looked into the mirror that was there, and saw a pretty, redheaded girl, slightly shorter than her.
the girl walked over to the sink, and turned the tap. she rubbed her hands together under the water for a few moments, before walking over to the paper towel dispenser, and began drying her hands.
once the girl noticed adhara looking, she turned to face her fully.
"hi, i'm lily!" she spoke, eagerly, which came as a surprise to adhara.
