Ninjago: Never Forgotten (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 3: Rivalry

-The Monastery-

The trio made it to the Dining room to eat breakfast. The team noticed them come in and stared in shock.

"A...Akita?" Zane asked

"Hello Ninja, we meet again" She replied casually

"Why is it that EVERY time we get to eat something big happens that stops everything!" Cole groaned

The trio took their seats with Akita sitting to Lloyd's left and Harumi sitting on his right. Breakfast carried on normally with Akita talking about her adventures after the Ninja escaped the Never realm and how she managed to get to Ninjago. Jay realized that Harumi was very quiet and looked at her to see she was glaring jealously at Akita. Jay looked at Akita who was clung to Lloyd's arm and was resting her head on his shoulder. Jay started to chuckle until Nya shoved her elbow into his side, shutting him up. Nya, Jay and Zane were the only people to notice Harumi's behaviour but no one dared speak about it. Breakfast finally ended and everyone made their way to the Lounge.

LOUNGE

Everyone went into the Lounge area to watch Jay and Cole attempt to beat each over in 'Prime Empire'. Unagami and Milton Dyer worked out the kinks and actually released the game for all to enjoy so Jay and Cole bought it and challenged each over. Cole and Jay sat in the middle while Lloyd took the corner with nearly everyone else. Akita sat on Lloyd's lap as Harumi tried her absolute best to stay away from the pair at all costs. Harumi tried not to but occasionally sneaked glances towards the pair. Each glance took a blow to her heart for reasons she couldn't describe. Why does her blood boil at just the thought of Lloyd and Akita together? Why does every time Akita advance onto Lloyd make her want to claw the Formling's eyes out? Why does she feel so much hatred towards Akita? 

"YES!" Jay screamed victoriously as he jumped up from his seat, dropping his controller

"No fair" Cole whined as he threw his controller on the ground as Jay started dancing

The group were left to their own devices in a flash. Kai and Skylor headed to Chens Noodle House, Zane and PIXEl went outside to fix the Monastery defences, Jay and Nya went to the mall, Cole continued to play video games, and Lloyd and Akita went to the Green Ninja's room as Harumi watched in a mix of anger and sadness. Harumi growled to herself and stormed into her room.

HARUMI'S ROOM

The white haired girl stormed into her room and slammed the door. She looked at the mirror and sighed.

'Why am I so angry with Akita, I haven't even got the chance yet to properly meet her but it makes my blood boil at the mere sight of her...with Lloyd'

Harumi stopped as she mulled over her realization. Could she be jealous...No that's ridiculous, her and Lloyd are 'friends' besides...why would he choose the person who broke his heart and destroyed the City over a Formling warrior.

'Even if I'm jealous...WHICH I'M NOT...why would Lloyd choose me over her, he deserves someone much better then a criminal like me...I would stand no chance with him compared to her' she sighed as her angry expression dissolved into one of sadness

She pulled out a picture of her and Lloyd before she revealed herself as the Quiet One and smiled as she hugged it close to her chest.

LLOYD'S ROOM

Lloyd sat on his bed with Akita next to him resting her head on his shoulder and something felt...off for him. He couldn't put his finger on it but something feels odd and somewhat not right. He glanced at the Formling and don't get him wrong he was happy she's back but every kiss or gesture feels off. Even though Akita is sitting right next to him and has come to Ninjago from the NEVER REALM and she was nowhere in sight, Lloyd couldn't take his mind off Harumi. It confused his as he should be thinking about Akita because she clearly likes him but something about hearing that makes the Blond feel sick. Akita noticed his distant state and gained his attention.
