Chapter 7: Warlords

-Destiny's Bounty-

"Yes that crystal is very dangerous...I haven't told you all yet about everything there is to know about the Oni"

The room filled with silence, everyone eager to here the rest of the story. Wu sighed before continuing

"When the Oni and Dragon were fighting for possession over my Father there were 4 Oni Warlords...Omega, Venge, Decer and Ha-eed-" Wu stated before being cut off by Jay

"Wait, wait wait...Venge, Decer and Ha-eed?" He questioned with a confused look

"Yes...Venge, the Oni Warlord who created the Mask of Vengeance, Decer, creator of the Mask of Deception and Ha-eed, maker of the Mask of Hatred" Wu explained as the group stared at him in shock

"Anyway, The Dragons could not defeat the 3 Oni Warlords, they were too powerful so they made an ancient crystal to trap them...They disposed of the crystal and it was never seen again...until earlier when Misako found it...she gave it to me and before I could properly hide it the SOG attacked" Wu continued

"Wait...are you saying..." Kai trailed off as Wu nodded

"Yes, The 3 Oni Warlords created the Masks to give the ones who possess them a taste of their incredible power...It is told that if the three Masks are united in an ancient Oni Temple along with the crystal that the 3 Oni Warlords would be freed" Wu stated

"So your telling me that their last plan to bring back 1 Oni Warlord gone wrong so their new goal is to bring back 3!" Jay exclaimed

"Yes but the Oni Temple has never been located...No one knows where it is but that wont stop the SOG from trying to find it...we must get that crystal back at once!" Wu instructed the group

The group nodded before going off on their separate ways. Before PIXEL left Wu turned to her.

"PIXEL...give Misako our location, if someone knows where the Temple is it would be her" Wu instructed as PIXEL nodded

LOUNGE

The Destiny's Bounty had a small lounge. Nothing like the one at the Monastery. Lloyd was sitting on a chair while staring at the picture of him and Harumi again. his heart was aching from staring at the picture. He needed to get over her but he just cant for some reason. He sighed before carefully placing the picture in his pocket. On cue Akita walked in the Lounge with a smile on her face.

"Hey" She greeted, waving at the glum looking Ninja

"Hi" He muttered quietly

Akita sighed. She knew it would take time for Lloyd to get over HER but she knew in the end that she'll be the one wrapped in his arms. Akita smiled at the thought. She skipped over to Lloyd and grabbed his hand.

"Lloyd...I know you might be upset but...you need something to cheer you up" She suggested as she scanned the room for something to entertain her Angel.

"I appreciate the thought but I don't think anything will really cheer me up right now" He declined softly with a slight smile

Akita frowned at the Green Ninja. Getting him to move on from her would be tougher then she first thought.

"Want to know something stupid?" Lloyd randomly asked as Akita quirked an eyebrow

"Sure"

"Some part of me is still clinging onto hope...some part of me thinks that Harumi is acting, that she is just pretending to be with the SOG...some imagination I know" Lloyd almost laughed at himself

Akita held back a growl. She did not even want to think of the possibility that Harumi's betrayal was an act.

"Its normal to feel that way but...you just need to move on Lloyd, carrying on like this is just NOT healthy, your friends would agree" Akita informed the boy
