Tripping on crepe

Anokhi is in her head thinking of going back to hostel. But Shaurya reads her mind. She is also thinking about the trip.

Shaurya-You are staying with us. Agar tumhara pair theekh ho jata hai chali jana. Magar agar nhi hota hai toh postpone karo naa. Agar wahan jakar pair dard badh gya toh?

Anokhi-I don't want to miss it naa. Mujhe jane ka bohot mann hai. I have never been on a trip like this. School ke waqt bhi papa kabhi nhi allow karte the. Mere sab dost jate the. Mere bina. I want to go.

Shaurya-Anokhi yaar.

Anokhi-Postpone bhi nhi ho sakta naa trip agle hafte.

Shaurya-I am not trying to force you magar I am worried. I am genuinely worried. Tumhe bukhar ho gya toh aaj subah jaise. Trip utna simple bhi nhi hai. Sheher se door hai. Waterfall jaisi location upar se. Agar kuch problem hua toh. I know Bebo hai, Kitty hai, Reema hai, Shayani, Maya bhi hai. But. Yaar tum chal bhi nhi paa rhi ho.

Anokhi-Achaa. Theekh hai. Mein rest kar loongi. But you have to help me convince them to go.

Shaurya-Nhi dekhte hai. Lets hope for the best naa.

Anokhi-Hmmmm. But first aap mujhe help karo unhe convince karne mein.

Shaurya-Huhhhh. Kya kya karwati ho mujhse tum. Khudko itna bura lag rha hai. Mujhe bura lag rha hai. And hum dono baithke unko convince karenge. Khair. Pehle come here.

He hugs her.

Shaurya-Sorry jaan. Meri wajah se. Yeh sab. I am so sorry. Mujhe sambhalke kaam karna chahiye tha. Meri wajah se ek toh itne pain mein ho aur phir tumhe trip bhi. Anokhi I so much want you to go. Tumhare face pe ek badi si smile dekhna chahta hoon. But darr bhi hai. Tumhe takleef hoti hai naa to mein naa. Mujhse bardash nhi hoga yaar. Tum jab bukhar mein thi naa toh mein toh itna stressed ho gya tha ki. Yaar.

Anokhi-Tum itni si baat pe ro rhe ho? Arre. Mere face pe badi si smile waise bhi hai. Mujhe zyada dard nhi hai. Kafi better hoon. Thanks to so much pampering  from my partner. And this is a boon in disguise. Hum dono time spend kar payenge. And I will be confined to this room. Lucky me. I can never have enough of you. So hum bohot sari baatein karenge and you have to be ok with that.

Shaurya-Hmmmm.

Anokhi-Ab asoon pohoncho. Warna yeh emo face mein tumhare sath ek selfie leke family whatsapp group par dal dungi.

Shaurya-Anokhi! Yaar tum naa. But I know tum mujhe cheer karne ke liye keh rhi ho.

Anokhi-Toh pata hai toh thoda toh cheer ho jao naa. Make it a little bit less hard for me please? Give a sexy cum cute smile.

Shaurya smile and kisses her on the forehead.

So Anokhi somewhere deep down knows that she won't be able to go. Shaurya though doesn't give up. Over the next few days he keeps running behind her with medicines all the time, making sure she doesn't move an inch, massaging her feet with ointment, applying crepe bandage. But there was something else he was doing in secret. He was packing her bag up for the trip.

Shaurya-Kapde check. Shawl check. Sweatshirt check. Munchies check. Rain coat check. Sport shoes check. Bas ab kya bacha hai. Haan power bank. Woh kahan rakha hoga dekhta hoon. Arre yaar. Yeh power bank kam kyu nhi kar rha hai. Usko apna de deta hoon. Last time seminar ke liye gyi thi. Phone switch off aaya toh mein toh darr hi gya tha. Yeh rhega toh tension mein nhi rahoonga mein aur Babli. Last time mom bhi toh tensed ho gyi thi. Unko laga ki train miss kar diya tumne. Toh iss time no chance. Without power bank kahin nhi jaoge tum.

Meanwhile Anokhi comes and hugs him from back.

Anokhi-Kya kar rhe ho tum?

Shaurya-Kuch bhi toh nhi.

Anokhi-Jhoot bolne ki koshish bhi mat karna. Packing kar rhe ho. Tum aise kyu ho?

Shaurya-Ro kyu rhi ho?

Anokhi-I never thought koi mujhse itna pyaar karega. Khudse pyar karne aayi thi Chandigarh aur yahan ek aisa insaan mil gya jo mujhe mujhse zyada chahta hai. Kitni fikar karte ho meri.
What did I do to deserve you?

Shaurya-You don't have to do anything. I just love you. I just do. So so much bata nhi sakta.

Anokhi-Tumhari aankhon mein dikhta hai.

Shaurya-Aur tumhare bhi.
Anokhi-Pyaar se zyada khushi hai mere aankhon mein. I feel complete Shaurya. Aur kuch nhi chahiye mujhe.

Shaurya-Mujhe bhi.

He hugs her.

Anokhi-And I am not going. Haan mera pair better hai. But I don't want to stress you all.

Shaurya-Pagal. Yeh koi reason hai nhi jaane ka? Gratitude ki jagah nhi hai humare rishte mein. You feel happy with me itna kafi hai. Don't feel sorry ki mein yahan pada rahunga. Aur waise bhi we do have a boys night plan. Jo cancel nhi hoga bhale hi tumhara trip cancel kyu naa ho jaye. So you are going. Ahir, me and Yash hum jaa rhe hai. We have a bar night. Drinks and games. Going to have some chill time. And Ahir ke sath hang out karna hai. Phone pe thoda low sound kar rha tha. Reema nhi hogi naa weekend pe. Usko miss kar rha hai already. Toh uska mood theekh karenge. Shitij shayd aayega for sometime. Dekhte hai.

Anokhi-Ok you guys have fun.

Shaurya-You too and stay safe but yeh sab instructions tumhe kal doonga mein jab tum niklogi. Aur haan baki sab pack kar diya. Medicine ek kharidna hai mujhe. Woh kharidke dal dunga tumhare bag mein. Tumhara rain coat front zip mein hai. And laptop please mat lena fir se padhai karogi wahan.

Anokhi-Ok ok chill. Bidai nhi ho rhi hai.

Shaurya-I wish hoti.

Anokhi-Shaurya.... Aap naa.

Shaurya-Kudi sharma gyi.

Anokhi-PS.

Shaurya-PS kitne cutely kehti ho. Ab toh woh bhi pasand hai aur Shaurya bhi.

Anokhi-Achaa. PS.

Shaurya-Can I just kiss you?

Anokhi-Puch rhe ho? Aise cheeze puchte nhi hai. Bas kiss toh ho jata hai.

He kisses her.

Shaurya-Your right. Yeh toh bas ho gya. Jaise tumse pyaar bas ho gya tha. Anokhi yaar. I love you.

Anokhi-Kitni baar kahoge.

Shaurya-Bas kehte rehne ka mann kar rha hai. I never want to stop.

Anokhi-Me too. But now mein baithoon. Rest kar loon pair ko.

Shaurya-Haan. Haan. Baitho.

He adjusts the pillow.

Shaurya-Comfortable?

Anokhi-Not yet. Yahan aao. She rests her head on his shoulders. Now I am.
