May is probably the best month out of the year. You only have to go to school for a week or two. Then its the start of whats supposed to be the best three months out of the year. You get to sleep in til' whenever you want, get to hang out with friends, bonfires, going swimming, and maybe finding your summertime love.

Summer of '13 was the best summer of my life. I just turned sixteen that year and that means driving wherever i wanted ( with my parents knowing ) and just having the time of my life with my friends. One night I go out to the lake with my best friend ( Y/BFF/N ) and our other friends. (Y/BFF/N ) was invited by her boyfriend who invited a bunch of his friends.

When we get there its around 2 in the afternoon and it was about 98 degrees. Perfect weather to go so I was pumped to be there. Me and some of the other girls ,that came with me and ( Y/BFF/N ), took off our over clothes and ran into the water. ( Y/BFF/N ) went and talked to her boyfriend, Matthew. There was a few other people in the water already that were some of Matthew's friends.

I was floating on my back and then all of a sudden I'm flipped over. I come up from the water and see Matthew's best friend laughing his butt off. That person would be the Cameron Dallas. He is every girls dream. I splash him with water.

" You're a real asshole Cameron. I hope you know that" I say splashing him again.

" Well ( Y/N ). I mean you did deserve it" He says smirking

" Why the hell did I deserve that?" I say giving him a confused look.

" You didn't even come and say Hi to me" He says giving me a pouty look.

" Oh my bad" i say sarcastically " Hi Cameron! How have you been? You know its been a while since i saw you last week at school." i say chuckling

" Very funny ( Y/N ). No but really I am kinda upset you didn't come and say hi"

" Why? We barely talk at school and now that its summer you want to talk to me? Plus you looked like you were having a nice conversation with Brittney"

Brittney Olson is the most popular girl in school. Every girl wants to be her and every guy wants her. She is perfect. Brittney's family is rich because her dad got hurt at work one day and sued the business and won the lawsuit now the business has to pay him like $60,000 every 3 months. Like her dad wasn't hurt that bad but that's how that worked. Brittney and I used to be like best friends in elementary school but the minute we went to jr high, we both went separate ways. She became popular and i became like one of those people who is like in the middle of being nerdy and popular. I was just a normal person i guess that's the best way to phrase it. After that we never talked again.

" Yeah no i wasn't. She's annoying and only thinks about herself... unlike you" i give him a weird look. I laugh then start to swim towards shore. Cameron starts to swim after me. He catches up and jumps up on me. We both come up laughing. I slap his chest and start walking up to the shore. He follows. I go and grab my towel out of my car and lay it down on the sand. I lay down and my stomach and start trying to tan. I see a shadow over my head and look up. There is Cameron laying down his towel and laying next to me.

" Can i help you?" i say looking at him laying down.

" Yeah.. tell me about yourself." He says with a smirk. I give him a weird look and chuckle.

"I'm not that interesting of a person"

"C'mon ( Y/N ). There has to be at least one thing interesting about you and usually when people say that they aren't interesting they usually are so... Start talking" He says looking at me waiting for me just to tell him my whole life story.

" What do you want to know? My life story?"

" Sure. I mean since you offered yeah that would be just fine" he says winking.

" You sure are something Dallas" I start telling him my story. I leave out a story that only my family and ( Y/BFF/N ) know. Maybe one day if Cameron and i get close enough he could know the story too. Cameron just sat there and listened to me telling him everything.

After i told him my whole life story, the sun is about to start setting. We sit up and just watch it start to set.

" Wow its beautiful " I say just staring at all the different colors shooting across the sky.

" Yeah it is " He says looking over at me. I look over and see him smiling.

" What you dork?" i say

" Nothing." he says shaking his head and looking back at the sunset.

Hey! So i think i want to make a part two to this but idk. let me know if you like it and ill make another part so yeah.. Im gonna try to write more
