Senior year and prom is just around the corner. At this moment, i am currently going with nobody. My boyfriend Cameron, of 3 years, still hasnt asked me. It almost worries me but then i think what if that dork forgot about prom.

" Hey babe i was thinking, what if we dont go to prom and just hang out and watch movie" Cameron tells me

"Cameron its our senior year. We wont ever have this chance again! Why dont you want to go?"

"I just think they're stupid and over-rated"

"Seriously? So you wont change your mind?"

"Most likely not Amber"

"Whatever Cameron. Ill go without you. I have friends who arent going with dates so ill just go with them"

"Whatever enjoy yourself" Cameron says and walks off. I take a deep breath and walk out to my car. I haw better things to worry about... Like getting my dress.

~night of prom~

I got all dressed up and a few of my friends came over so we could take pictures. When they all got here my mom and dad started to take the pictures. While we were doing that, someone rang the doorbell. I go and open the door.

Standing there dressed in a tux and holding a bouqet of flowers was my amazing boyfriend.

"What are you doing here? I believe you said prom was 'over-rated and stupid'" i said.

"Yes my beutiful girl i did say that. But i cant let you down like that. So miss Amber will you do the honors of going with me to prom?" He says with a small smile.

I look at him and think. "No" i say.
"What?!" Cameron says looking sad.
"Im just kidding babe. Yes i will go with you! I just wanted you to feel the way you made me feel"

"I love you but hate you at the same time" he says kissing my cheek.
"Same for you bud" i say giving him a big kiss on the lips.

After my parents got more pictures of us we all went to prom. I had an amazing time and so did Cameron.

This is one true night to remember.
