Today is my first soccer practice of the year and I am super excited. My coach, Haily, is super cool. I have known her since I was little and have always wanted to be on her team when I got up to her age group that she coaches.

Hey girls today I am going to put us with my brothers team and we will have a scrimmage, just so I know where we need to improve on. Wear appropriate clothes. It is supposed to rain later. See you at 5.

~at 4:30~

I change into some shorts and throw on a hoodie. I drive over to the soccer fields and put on my cleats. Some of the other girls and I start some stretches.

"All right girls. Thank you for stretching we will do some warm-ups then start the scrimmage. Okay? Good. This is my brother David. He is the coach of the boys team you will play against today. Okay lets go run" says Haily and she starts taking off.

~starting the scrimmage~

I play goaly and I am pretty good at it. So i thought. One of the boys kicks the ball and it comes straight at my face. I didnt have time to throw my hands up and block my face. The ball hits me straight in the nose and i fall down. The boy who kicked the ball runs up to me.

"O my gosh! Are you okay? Your nose is bleeding a lot!" I look up and see a guy with dreamy brown eyes and a beautiful face.

"Umm yeah. I think im okay." I say cupping the blood in my hand.

"I am so sorry. I shouldnt of kicked that hard so close up."

"Im fine really. It was a nice kick." I say and he giggles.

"Dallas go take her over to that gas station and she can clean up in the bathroom" David yells over to the boy.

"Yes sir"

"So is your name Dallas?" I ask as we cross the street to the gas station.

"No thats my last name my first name is Cameron" he says chuckling a little bit.

"Oh Im Kelly by the way" I say as he opens the door for me.

"I know. I asked my sister she is on your team"

"Why did you ask your sister that?" He walks me to the bathroom and help me clean up.

"Because I think your beautiful and I wanted to know your name so i could ask you out later."

"Oh really? So was this your plan to break my nose so you could ask me out?" I say laughing.

"No oh no! I was gonna ask you out after the scrimmage but this kinda happened and yeah" we both start laughing. We finally get the bleeding to stop. He buys a bag of ice and we put it on my nose.

"Kelly i think you need to go to the hospital. Do you want me to take you?" Haily asks.

"I can take her" cameron says.

"Okay thank you. Kelly is that fine by you?"

"Yeah thats fine." I say and cameron and i walk over to his car.

This may have been the weirdest day. I broke my nose and end up going on a "date" with Cameron at the hospital. Im okay with it though.
