"We're not keeping the cat Tommy." The brunette expected him to come back with a job. Not a cat.

"Why not? I even got a name for it!" Tommy placed the cat on his shoulder like a bird.

"Because first off, we can't handle one and second off, we don't have the extra money for it." Tubbo made good points. But this was now Tommy's child.

"Well. I've got a job now so we'll have money. And it's my child now. He loves me" The cat pressed it's head against Tommy as a sign of affection.

He used to love you. Don't make more promises Tommy.

"Fine. But if it's dies because of lack of care. Don't come crying to me." The older boy have walked out of the room.

"Well he's a bummer." Tommy started to walk to his room to give his new child a home.

"This shall be your home, if you're not with me that is." The blonde set the cat on his bed.

"I think I'm gonna name you Dust! It sounds badass, and you're with me so it's gotta sound manly." Tommy pet the cat as Dust leaned into his hand.

That's what you used to call them. Stop using reminders Tommy.

The dark browned hair man walked out of the cove and into a house he shared with his older Brother and Father.

He walked into a blonde haired man with large black wings and a green and white bucket hat in the kitchen, who was his Father. Also a vivid pink haired teen sitting on the couch reading.

The winged man looked at the dark haired boy.

"Oh hey Wil what's up?" The man had a warm smile, warmer than the sun. It felt like a hug when it wasn't.

"Nothing much just XD pissed at me again." The boy shrugged. He didn't like XD but didn't hate him either. It was 50-50.

"Pfft what'd you do now?" The blonde had pulled a chair up for the boy and sat next to him in the kitchen.

"Let a code v kid go." The dark brunette expected to many questions from his father. He wanted to keep it simple, which probably wasn't going to happen.

"You what? Wil you know those kids are criminals!" His father had protested. It was going to be the same thing again. Arguing over and over.

"He just didn't seem like the kind of kid to do that okay?!" Wil had started to get up out of the chair till his father pulled him back down.

"Fine. The town isn't that big, what did he look like?" The blonde didn't outburst in anger or argue. Which is why Wil enjoyed his father for that.

"He had like a gas mask on, blue eyes, blonde hair, red and white hoodie. His clothes weren't in the best condition either." The dark haired boy explained the presence of the vigilante.

"I seen that kid before. He seemed really lost I wanted to help the kid but he just booked it" The blue eyed father was a kind hearted soul. So of course he wanted to help.

"Well then it wouldn't be hard to find him right? I bet he's just some lost kid who had no home and XD is taking it to far" Wil suggested. The boy had seemed nothing like a criminal.

"Wilbur. I know you don't like XD, but who knows maybe the kid is one." His father pushed the suggestion off.

"DAD COME ON YOU'RE THE KIND ONE HERE AREN'T YOU?!" The teenager yelled at his father, he's never done that, oh shit.

"Damn Wil you're yelling at Dad now?" The pink haired boy had piped up placing his book down.

"Wilbur Marci, do not raise your voice at me. Techno. Stay out of this." The blondes smile had faded. He wasn't mad but he wasn't happy.

"Yes father." The brown hair boy had his head down in disappointment of himself. He did not just yell at his father. The other boy had gone back to reading.

"Look Wil, we can find the kid again. But if he's a vigilante and has a home then we take him back to XD, if not. He can come with us. Deal?" The father didn't want his son upset, and there could be chance of the kid being a lost child.

"Deal" Wil had perked his head up as soon as he heard that. He was glad his father was listening to him.

Tommy had his first day on the job.

"Come along Dust. You are my child so you must come with me" The teenager had placed Dust on his shoulder after getting ready.

You can't hold onto him forever.

"Off we go!" The boy had walked out the door, his roommate was in his room sleeping. Lazy ass.

———————————————————————

"Kid. You can't have your pet in here" The same women to interviewed him had scolded him about Dust.

"He's my child. He must be with me at all times." Tommy wasn't going to easily let Dust out of his sight.

"Well fine. Just if it bothers anyone or gets into anything it's banned from the shop. Okay?" The rose haired women wasn't going to argue with a child after that was said.

"Yes. Anyways what was your name again? Bad memory." The blonde had a small smile upon his face.

It's not bad memory Tommy.

"It's Niki. You?" Niki had responded. Tommy can't believe he was interviewed by her and never knew her name. Her fault.

"Tommy. And this is Dust. Manly name. I know." The boy had pointed to Dust on his shoulder.

"Very nice name. He's a little cutie as well! But do remember the deal." She reminded him. He couldn't forget it. It was Dust's only chance of staying.

"Got it!" The teenagers smile warmed as he walked to get ready for his first day.

———————————————————————

"ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED HERE. ARE YOU 5?!" An angry women had piped up. Tommy just wanted to do his job.

"I'm not 5. And I was told he could stay. So back off lady." The blue eyed boy didn't even want to look at her. He was already disappointed she was disrespecting Dust.

"THIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE." She perched up yet again after being escorted out of the shop.

"I'm sorry about that kid." The rose haired girl had told Tommy.

"Oh it's not big deal. She just seemed like an asshole." Tommy continued doing his work. Which was a cashier. He worked at a chocolate shop. A small one at that.

You're an asshole for holding on still Tommy. Let him go.
