It had been long enough where of Tubbo known something was wrong. Tommy never stayed out this long. Though the boy thought his friend just got caught in a, larger crime than other times.

To pass the time Tubbo had went around using random things to create other devices. Didn't matter if it had use, or not. He used the time to help get his mind off things.

But instead this time Tubbo called over someone had hadn't spoken to in awhile of time.

"Hello?" A calm voice answered the phone

"Hey." The teenager responded with.

"Oh wow. Is that Tubbo im speaking to?" The voice didn't sound much older than Tubbo, who was only 17 at the time.

"Uh yeah. Yeah it is. But that's not why I called you. I thought maybe we could meet up you know hang out?" Tubbo wanted to come across smooth so he wouldn't seem like he ignoring an old friend for years.

"Sounds like a deal! I remember where you live so I'll be there soon!" The voice was immediately filled with excitement.

Tubbo resorted back to his random crafting while waiting for his friend to arrive. The 17 year old never found the time to get a haircut so his fluffy hair started to fall in front of his own eyes. Brown smooth curls, not many ever saw his true eye color. Which he tried to hide, they were a gray with hint of yellow. Tubbo despite's the way the look. Tommy always tried to keep his confidence up. Which since now. Had worked.

Him and his best friend have had matching hoodies since they moved in together. Neither barely took them off. It was a sign of the friendship bond they shared forever.

Tubbo was to lost in his thoughts to be frightened by someone's knock at the door.

"One moment!" Tubbo yelled out to the person standing behind the door as he got up to answer it.

Tubbo had opened to door to a tall teenage boy, not much older than Tubbo, black and white hair with red and green eyes. Though Tubbo first noticed the height of his friend. The boy who was once 5'0 was now maybe 6'7 on a guess.

Tubbo welcomed him inside with a warm smile.

The teenager had sat down on the couch motioning the tall boy to sit with him. Which he did.

"So, how's it been old friend?" Tubbo asked to break to utter silence within the room. What were you supposed to say to someone you haven't spoken to in years? "Oh yeah I'm working with another friend who illegally stops crimes." Tubbo wouldn't begin to say that secret until he felt even comfortable as he did before with his friend.

"Oh please. Tubbo you know to call me my name." The voice reassured.

"You're gonna have to say you're name again because it seems I forgot!" The boy had said with a small chuckle afterwards.

The tall teenager let out a laugh.

"Ranboo." He said replied with. The boy had known his memory was bad back then, it still was now. So Tubbo found out how to make it light hearted, be joking about it.

"Well hello again Ranboo." Tubbo had looked at the boy with the same smile he worn before.

Once the two boys had caught up on each other's lives with laughs, jokes, and some bad memories. Tubbo had felt happy, he invited his old friend to join him again. He truly missed him, though he didn't want to admit it. He did, he missed his only friend he'd had at the time.

Tubbo gasped "Can I call you boo? I think I'd be a cool nickname!"

Ranboo chuckled "Only if i get to call you Bo. Fair isn't it?"

Tubbo had a small pout on his face. "Fine" which was mumbled underneath his breath.

"What was that? I didn't catch it." The tall teenager had asked.

"Finee" The other boy said in a defeated tone.

"A vigilante. A vigilante kid." The man had placed a hand on Tommy's shoulder.

The boy placed a hand on his heart. "I am in disbelief you'd ever call me that"

Willin stared at Tommy.

Tommy had stared back without noticing.

"Yeah so then where's your hero's license?" The man asked.

"Uhhh. McDonald's has it." Tommy had answered with a panicked smile.

The man rolled his eyes. "McDonald's? I'm not 5. I know what you are kid."

Tommy's heart skipped at beat at that sentence. He didn't know if that was a good thing or bad considering that the man he was talking to was a hero. And one that seemed serious but kind?

Tommy had looked at his surroundings. Trying to use anything he remembered which, was nothing.

"But hey, let's make a deal." The man said with hope.

"What kind?" The boy questioned. Not knowing if he would take it or not. He morally wanted to go back home and lay on the couch in his and Tubbos apartment, and see what kind of craft Tubbo made with things laying around today.

"A promise." Even though the mans head was turned towards the sunset Tommy could sense the smile in his voice.

"I'm not 5. Kids make promises and last time I checked. I am a very big man. Handsome, Strong, Funny, and-" Tommy was cut off by the hero's hand giving him a shushed motion.

"I think you'll like this one" The mans back completely turned away from Tommy.

"I make a promise to-" The mans voice faded as Tommy zoned out.

Tommy didn't want to listen to some stupid promise. He was a man. He wanted a deal, not even that. He wanted to be let go. He felt trapped, and hated every second of it. He found the man turned 180 degrees away from him, looking his surroundings once more. He booked it. Not knowing where he was. He just knew he didn't need some hero on his tail after already being caught.

You cant run forever Tommy. You cant escape the fate. The words rang in the blonde's ears and he continued to run, confused and cold.

God Tommy fucked up again. What was he thinking.?
