i woke up to the sound of a loud obnoxious bird chirping by the window. I forgot where i was and when i realized i was in Dax's beach house i immediately got up and ran to the bathroom.
"Oh my." My hair whinded up in a big birds nest, my face sad and tired looking. I splash cold water on my face. "Geez, today is monday." I said with my head in the sink.
The shower was huge, well compared to what i always use. I came to a realization that i was running out of clothes and it wont be that attractive always wearing the same thing. After my shower and freshing up i stepped out into the hallway. It was filled with complete silence. "Dax." I said looking inside a room to see a figure wrapped up under the covers. "Dax you dont wanna be late for school." I stepped inside the room slowly inhaling the smell of men and colonge. "Dax." I said again stepping closer to the bed, until i was next to it. I tapped his shoulder, but no response. "Dax." I poked again and then pulled the cover off his body.
His eyes slowly opened, and I stared down at him. "Oh, good morning." He said smiling and stretching his arms towards the ceiling.
"Youre gonna be late for school." I said adjusting my shirt, that seemed like it shrunk."So hurry up!" I laughed.
"I'm going I'm going." He stepped out of bed, I stared at his shirtless back, how all the muscles tensed as he slipped on a dindgy grey shirt over his head.
"No shower?" I said following him to the kitchen, I once again glided my hand across the smooth counter.
"Nope." He stuffed a piece of bread in his mouth, while reaching the fridge. I jumped up and sat down on one of his bar stools.
"Dirty." I joked.
"What do you want to eat?" He said sticking his whole head inside the fridge.
"I don't know, what do you got?" I said looking up at a clock, that didn't move. The clock was big and brown with designs you might see in the old days. I stared at the hands of the clock.
"Well whatever you want my lady." He said standing up straight.
"Waffles?" I asked while switching my attention to him.
"Ahh nuts I don't have waffles."
"You said anything I want!" I got up and slowly walked over to where he stood.
"Well I have anything but that." He turned his body to face me.
"Bacon?" I asked standing in front of him.
"Nope." I walked past him to see the fridge, completely empty.
"We can eat at school." I placed my hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah I was gonna say that but I guess you beat me to it." He winked.
The walk to school was silent, and we both occasionally closed our eyes to hear the crashing waves. "You live pretty far from school?" I said watching him glance down at his large black watch.
"We are kinda late already." He looked up at me from his watch.
"Oh well." I smiled and shrugged my shoulders.
"Excuse me...Bondi." a deep voice said from behind me. I turned my head to see a tall pale skin man with big muscles.
"Shit." I grabbed Dax's hand and took off running.
"Hey!" The deep voice began pounding after us.
"What is going on!" Dax yelled, i squeezed his hand dragging him behind me, all i felt was the breeze hit my face hard, and the mans feet banging the concrete. "Bondi!" I ignore Dax i just held as tight as i could to his hand, but soon i felt his hand squeeze back and he catched up to me."STOP YOU SON OF BITCH." I heard the man yell catching some young couples attention from kissing on a red bench.
"In here." Dax yanked my arm to follow him in a alley way, it seems like nobody knows about this i know i didnt. At the end of the alley way was a door, all by itself. The door was painted black to match the buildings around it.
"What is this." I asked out of breath, i glanced behind us to see the man running in the distance.
He extended his arm and turned the knob to the right and pushed it open. I didnt expect to see a crowd of people singing loudly to horrible scratchy music. "This way." Dax yelled over the stereo.
We pushed by many drunk helpless people. Beer was continuously splashed all over the floor as they slung around big mugs to the muffled music. "HEY!" A loud deep voice yelled coming from to bar. "Those little rats are not allowed." Now that Dax was dragging me I turned around to see a big husky man, with a long white beard that is turning yellow. Dax yanked my arm making me nearly fall. I bumped into many smelly and large men. The aroma of smoke a beer trailed up my nose and made me sneeze. The big crowd seemed like they were all piled together for miles.
"Where are we going?" I yelled, I found it weird how he knew this secret bar was here.
"I don't know, but we can't move slow, we gotta keep moving." I looked down at our fingers entwined in each others hands.
I followed him through the bar till finally we reached another door. I stared at the smooth black paint and wondered what was on the other side. Dax swung open the door and I was hit with the salty smell of the ocean. Running towards the ocean, the yelling drunk men became faint to my hearing . "I think we lost whoever that was." Dax stopped running when we reached a park that was behind a fence of bushes. "Who was that by the way?" He asked walking towards a green bench.
"Oh, I don't know I figured he was just trying to kill us or something." I shrugged my shoulders and my conscious began to remind me of how much of a liar I am.
"He knew your name?" I plopped down next to him.
"He did?" I said once again aware of how much I'm lying.
"Yes, very clearly and your name isn't really something someone puts to a face." He smirked while staring straight ahead at giant green bushes.
"So I guess we are not going to school huh?" I said while crossing my legs.
"I guess not, I mean who will even notice anyway." Dax looked me in my eyes and smiled. "I stare into two different eyes but see the same person." Dax said while transitioning to my left eye to my right. "How cool is that?" I laughed at how corney he can be.
'Thank you Dax." I said while placing my hand on his broad shoulders. "Thank you so much."
