"Good morning, Ji—"
I was scratching my eyes when I realized Jia wasn't on the bed anymore. Shit, late ka nanaman nagising. I hissed in my mind, nauna nanaman siya sa work at ako ulit ang late.
I rushed to get up and took a shower then wore my working clothes. I left the apartment after having a coffee.
Inside the cab, I remembered how I purposely went inside her room last night. The look she gave when I insisted us to sleep together. It was peaceful and I was comfortably lying on her chest with arms around the waist.
I soon made it to the office and clocked in. Diretso agad ako sa cubicle dahil natatakot akong ma-special mention uli ni Boss kung maabutan akong papasok. I turned my head and saw Jia's eyes on me, I beamed and turned away.
Day went on normally, deadlines here and there tapos hindi nawala pang-aasar ko kay Jia na mas napansin na ngayon ng mga kasama namin. They'd occasionally laugh whenever Jia gets irritated or slap me if I try to mess around with her.
I'm in the middle of typing when I saw someone placing a flower on my desk. I scratched my eyebrow before looking up, and he beamed right there and then. I don't know many co-workers here dahil napakadaming empleyado dito.
"Good morning, Miss De Leon." He greeted and fidgeted a little with his fingers. Nanerbyos ata siya sa kanyang ginagawa. "I know you don't know my name. Well, who would even bother getting the names of about 250 employees."
I chuckled, "Right, I only know a couple of people here."
He extended his hand to me, I looked around and people were busy enough to notice. "My name is Thirdy Ravena, nice to meet you here."
I accepted and shook hands with him, "Bea De Leon. How did you know my last name?" I said and asked.
"Oh, I asked some of our fellow co-workers who knew your name as well." He said and I nodded, "We can talk in tagalog, sorry."
I snickered, halata naman na Pinoy siya. "It's fine. Pero wow, gano'n ba katunog ang pangalan ko dito?"
"Ay, napapag-usapan kasi kayo nung Jia ba 'yun? Lagi mo raw inaasar dito and funny enough, I finally got to see it first hand kanina lang." He giggled at napahawak ako sa aking noo. My God, sa sobrang pang-aasar ko nag-trending nga talaga kami ni Jia.
"Shit, nakakahiya. Hilig ko talaga siya asarin eh." I shyly said and laughed a bit, kusa akong gumawi sa direksyon ni Jia and she's busy working. "She's that girl over there."
"Okay, I see. Maganda rin, ha. Kayo parehas, magaganda kayo." He beamed and looked at the flower he gave me, "Sorry if I may sound weird by giving you a flower. I just wanted to give you one."
I smiled, "No problem, thank you."
His smile widened, "Welcome. Uhm, I should go back to my Department. See you around." He said and made a small wave, I smiled as he left.
