I informed the Doctors and Bea's parents through call sa labas ng room. Throughout the time I was in her room, she kept asking me questions. Nagpakilala rin kami sa isa't isa. I answered them all with honesty and she was surprised after I told her what day, year and month it is.

I didn't mention what transpired between the two of us pero nagtaka siya kung bakit may engagement ring siya. I hate to think that we're back to zero and strangers again.

"I need to go now." I was about to stand up when I felt her hand in mine.

"I'm all alone here, can we wait until my parents arrive?" She has this sweet smile on her face that almost melted me.

I sat on the chair and nodded, "Yes, I can."

"Is it really 2022? December... 12th?" She asked in a confusing manner and I nodded. "The last thing I remember is that I was on a car, trying to chase my... well... my ex. Jho, 'yun ang pangalan niya."

I caught her voice breaking after mentioning her ex's name. She must have loved her so much. Who am I to contest?

"She wanted to have her own child after we graduate. She knew I could not give it to her because I'm not a man. Her decision was sudden and there wasn't enough time for me to react because she broke up with me right away." She bit her lip to prevent tears from falling but failed. Bea began bawling her eyes out and she had to clutch her chest due to pain. "I still love her."

I placed my palm on top of her hand to console her. I will continue with my plan on winning her love, no matter how hard.

"I'm sorry, napaiyak tuloy ako." Bea wiped her tears and managed to put up a small smile. My palm remained clasping her hand and I don't have any plans of letting her go.

"It's hard to lose someone." I said and rubbed her hand, "Ramdam kita, huwag kang mag-alala. Ayos lang."

"You lost someone?" Bea asked after regaining her composure, "What happened? Break up? Died?"

"She had an accident." I started while fighting my impending tears, "Buhay siya pero hindi niya na ako maalala. She's my fiancée."

"Damn, but where is she? Bakit hindi mo siya kasama?"

"She's here, hindi niya lang alam na ako ang kausap niya dahil bumalik na ang alaala niya. I fell in love with her a year ago, not knowing that she has been living with this certain condition. I just discovered and you know what? I still love her the same." I said while staring. I shed a tear and formed a smile kahit pilit lang.

"That's so tough. I'm sorry I asked." She roamed her eyes around and chuckled, "But you are in my room. I'm guessing na napagod ka na sa dami ng iniisip mo kaya nagkamali ka ng kwartong pinasukan."

"Yeah, I became so stressed out." I sighed and was surprised to see her rubbing the back of my palm, "U-Uhm..."

"Friendly hand rub lang. I used to do this with my ex." She said while smiling, "Salamat sa pagsama mo sa akin dito kahit hindi tayo magkakilala. J-Julia ba pangalan mo?"
