Part 3: Handwriting

Nathan:

I got home, parents were still at work so I had the whole house to myself, I finished up my homework and called Maggie if she had found anything else about the book. When she answered the call, she was covered in post-it notes, it was on her arms and two were in her cheeks. "What are you doing? You know we have homework." I asked her, "I know, I finished that a long time ago. I was just looking back at the book and I remember Ms. Jackson saying that Kieden wasn't in class for half a period. Doing more research I found an old letter that Kieden wrote to me and the handwriting were identical. He wrote the dreams." She said. She took a picture and sent me it, I looked at it and she was right, they were identical. "So, you're saying that during English, he was at the basement writing the dreams and went to class as nothing happened." I said, "Yes." She said, "You're suggesting he is a psychic?" I asked. "Not really, but I don't think he was himself." She said, "Well then what are you waiting for? Let's tell the rest." I said, "No, not now." She said, "Why?" I asked, "I want to observe him first to see if we might be correct." She replied, she does have a point, we can't jump to conclusions "Well, but how do we know he is this Nogitsune?" I asked, "Nogitsune possess weak people, Kieden is a bit weak but very strong spirited. I am really confused, I can't tell." She said, "We will pick this up tomorrow, take some rest." I said, "Yeah, you are right, see you tomorrow." She said and ended the call. Man, what a start to the new year.

Kira:

I got ready for bed when Derick called as normal, we talking about our day as we didn't have any classes together today. After 2 hours of talking, I ended to call and got ready for bed. I couldn't forget the dream out of my head, every time I closed my eyes I saw that same basement room, luckily I didn't go down there, I think I would have had a mental breakdown. I did eventually go to sleep and had a dream, it was more like a nightmare. I was at school, I kept a voice telling me to go to the principal's office, the school was pitch black and no one in sight. The only light I had was my phone's flash. I followed the voice and made it to the office, I opened the door and saw our principal being stabbed to death. A dark figure was standing behind him, with a pencil in hand and stabbing it into the side of the principal's neck. I woke up screaming, my mother rushed into the room, asking what happened. I calmed myself down, told my mother I just had a nightmare and tried falling asleep. Who could the figure be?

Kieden:

My mind was all over the place that night, I couldn't go to sleep, I was thinking why would I do something like that, I will never kill my friend. When I got to school, I wasn't able to stay awake at all, I looked over at Kira and it seemed like she was in the same situation as me. During lunch, we all sat together, I tried my hardest not to fall asleep. They were talking, I wasn't paying attention until an announcement was made for the five of us to go to meet the principal, Mr. David's, office. I think it was about me breaking the window or we going to the basement. We walked got to the office, the teacher in front walked up to the front door, knocked on it and waited for an answer. There was no response, knocked one more time, still no response. She opened the door and started screaming at the top of his lungs, we ran up to her and looked at what she was looking at. Mr. David was sitting on his chair, dead. He had a pencil sticking out of his neck, blood all over his shirt and walls behind him, his eyes and mouth were wide open. The teacher fainted into Derick's arms, Nathan ran to find a teacher to call an ambulance, Maggie was helping Derick to seat the teacher on her chair. I glimpsed over at Kira and she was petrified, I pulled her said, away from the door. She seemed like she wanted to say something but was too scared to speak, "Kira, what is it?" I asked her, "I...I had a dream last night." She said, breathing heavily, "Okay. Kira, I need you to calm down. Take a deep breath and tell me what happened in your dream." I said. She took a deep breath, "I had a dream last night, about this dark figure, killing Mr. David the same way." She said.

Maggie:

Okay, I am officially concerned about our school, I know some schools have bad auras but not to the point where there is a murder having in broad daylight. I saw Mr. David walking around school this morning. How? How? I was helping Derick wake the teacher up but is not waking, Nathan finally comes with a teacher who called the police as soon he saw the body, I saw Kieden talking to Kira, we were all trying to handle this situation the best we can. About 10 minutes later, the Sheriff and team came down, they even had a police dog come down. The five of us were standing on the side, when the police dog passed by us, it stopped at Derick and was looking at him funny. "Why is it looking like that?" I asked him, "Maybe it doesn't like me." He said. the officer holding the leash of the dog was pulling it for it to move but it didn't. The dog started growling at him, the police officer pulled the leash and managed to pull the dog away from him. That was weird. The sheriff, Mr. Stearns, came up to us, was about to ask a few questions but the many students were crowding around the office so he led us to an empty classroom. He sat us down and asked what had happened. We told him everything that happened, he wrote it down on his notepad, he called in the vice-principal, Ms. Mary, to release the whole early for the day. We were told to get our bags and leave the school, Kira was walking beside me, I asked what Kieden was asking her, she told me what had happened in her dream. I was shocked, I mean it could be a coincidence but point by point, that doesn't seem right to me.
