Part 7: The Darkness Is Coming

Maggie:

Friday morning, I have taking care of him for the past 2 days. I checked on him every 3 hours, but he slept through. I went to check on him before I went to school, I turned on the light, I went down and saw an empty chair. The tape and chains were snapped, he had escaped, I immediately ran out and called Nathan, "Nate, he is out." I said, panicking, "Okay, it's fine, just come to school and we will figure this out. Relax, I am here for you." He said, his words were comforting, I took a deep breath and went to school. When I got there, Nathan was waiting for me at the front, "You are sure he's out?" He asked, "Yes, I went down to check on him and he was gone." I said, "Hm, where could he have gone to?" Nathan asked and walked into the school. We went to our form class, when Mr. Mcall, made an announcement, "Class, we will be having a lockdown drill in the middle of the day, so come back to class at 12.30 pm, sharp." He said and dismissed the class. The four of us were walking to our next class, "Maggie! It was your responsibility to take care of him!" Kira said, "How am I suppose to take care fucking possessed person? I not experienced in this shit!" I shouted, "Guys, there is no time to argue right now,  We have to figure out where he is." Nathan said. "My question is how did he get out of the tape and chains?" Kira said, "I ask myself the same question." I said. We went our separate ways, Nathan and I were walking towards class, "Don't think about what Kira said, she is probable afraid about her boyfriend." He said, "I know, I just as worried for him as she is but, how do we know that he is coming to school. He could be tricking us again, maybe it could at the forest or even graveyard." I started babbling away. Without saying anything, Nathan kissed me, I could feel his hand shaking when he was holding my face, I pulled away, "Why did you do that?" I asked, "I don't know." He replied with a smile and I smiled back. 

Kieden: 

12.30 pm, we were dismissed from our class 5 minutes earlier so that we could get to class on time, Mr. Mcall was rushing our classmates into class to arrange the table and chairs. The four of us placed our bags at the back of the class, Kira and I took newspapers and jammed it to block the windows. Nathan and Maggie were helping the others by arranging the tables against the wall and doors. The announcement chimed to commence the lockdown, we off the lights and fan and hid. 

Narrator: 

We have heard almost everything we needed to know from the beginning but it is my turn to tell you what really happened. On the first day of school, Kieden did go into the basement, Derick was waiting for him there, gave him the book and made him write the dreams. Dark was the one in Kira and Keiden's dreams. Everything was Derick, all of his thoughts, Dark just made it come true in a different way. Everyone was hiding in their class, waiting for the drill to be over, teachers and staff are walking around, checking if everything is going per plan. Derick walked into the hallways of the 6th floor, he was looking around, his face was slender, his under eyes were darkened and red, he had a little smirk on his face as he walked through the hallway. One of the teachers spots him, "Hey, you!" He shouted, but Derick doesn't bother, "Young man. I am talking, come here!" He shouts again, Derick showed no type of interest, "That son of a bitch." The teacher said under his breath, he walked towards Derick and pulled by his collar aside, "What are doing out your class? Detention for you." He said as he pulled him, Derick stopped, the teacher kept pulling him but he wasn't moving. Derick graded the teacher's wrist and twisted it, as the teacher wailed in pain, Derick grabbed his neck and threw him down. Derick started making his way to the first floor, as other teachers went to catch him, they were all thrown away but an untold source. One teacher managed to catch him and was dragging him to the principal's office when 4 men appeared in front of him, they all had katana in their hand, all wearing uniform black clothing, "There y'all are, I was waiting for you." Derick said. The teacher looked down at him in shock as he slowly let go of him, he scoffed, walked forward, the moment he snapped his figures, one of the men slashed him. The teacher's scream was heard by all levels. Derick went to the Principal's Office and made a quick announcement, "Dear students, I would like Maggie, Nathan, Keiden and Kira to come out of their class and face me. I am not done with you, I will give you one more chance. Save your school and your best friend or die together with your class and we will live happily ever after. I am waiting." Back to them. 

Kira:

 When I heard that, chills went down my pain. We had no choice, we had to save all of them, Mr. Mcall was trying to convince us that there might be another way to handle this, "There is no other way, we have to face him. We will be fine." Maggie said, we pushed the tables aside and unlocked the door. We walked to the hallway, two men wearing black were standing there behind Derick, he looked so sickly, his face was sunken in, darken under eyes and an evil smile to warp everything up. "The 4 four who really thought they could keep me in a basement taped and chained up. Stupid, I am more than 10 centuries old, you think duck tape and chains are going to keep me contained and now you pay the price." He said. He took the Katana of one of the men and slit his stomach, anything happed to him but Keiden started screaming in pain, he fell to the floor and sat against a wall. He lifted his t-shirt to reveal a big open wound with blood oozing out. I took off my jacket and tried stopping the blood, Maggie and Nathan walked up to him, "You wants us to fight?" Nathan said, "We're on." Maggie added, Derick scoffed, "Finish them." And walked away. The men lifted their Katana and ran up to them. The men fighting Nathan swung his Katana diagonally from himself, Nathan bent backwards and kicked the man's hand. The man immediately got up and went back into stuns, Nathan kicked the man in his chest, making him fall backwards. Nathan jumped onto him and tried punching his face but his hand went through his face, he got confused, before he could do anything else, the man changed into smoke. Meanwhile, Maggie got the Katana from the man, she wasn't able to hold it still but she got the hang of it and cut the man's head off. The same thing happened, the man turned into smoke and vanished, I was trying my hardest to keep Kieden from bleeding to his death, "We have to get him out of here!" I shouted, "No, no. If we leave now, none of us will live." He replied, "You're bleeding everywhere, are you sure?" Nathan asked, "Yes." He said. All of sudden, it went dark, "The Lunar Eclipse is happening, this will last 15 minutes. we have to stop him fast." Maggie said, "I have an idea where he might. Level 5, the rooftop basketball court, is the closest to the sun." Kieden said. 

Nathan: 

Maggie and I got to level 5 first, Kira and Kieden took their time to come up. when we got there, Derick was holding Derick? Yeah, I was confused too. The thing that was standing holding Derick was Nogitsune or Dark, it was in its true form, its iris were bright red, its sclera was pitch black, it had long claws, razor-sharp teeth and it was grinding at us. "Well done, you have passed the first one, this is your last one, let's see if you could kill me." He said, in a deep voice. We were teleported to a smaller part of the court divided by a tall fence. That small space had two doors at each end, a room with sports supplies, we were in one end and his men were in the other end. Maggie was ready with the Katana, I had no weapon, I had to depend on hands. The men in unison put away their Katana and took out throwing stars in their hands. Each of them took turns throwing the stars, Maggie used the Katana to block them. I picked up a few and used them as my weapons. I held two on each hand and started slicing the men, this time actually making them bleed. I could hear Dark shouting in anger for losing. When we were done with them, we walked back to Dark, Dark slightly panicked, he held Derick up and put his claws up to his neck, "You think you could just win me like this. No! NO!" He shouted, Maggie looked at him in the eyes, "You are scared, aren't you? You knew that we would beat you and you tried tricking us by confusing us." She said, " You little bitch, you really thought we would give up, no. No, we never give up." She said, Dark slowly let go of Derick, "Let's have a one on one." He said, "That's right, be a man." She said. She got in her stuns by lifting the Katana above her head, a Katana appeared in Drak's hand and banged their Katana against each other. At one point, Dark slashed Maggie's side, I tried helping but a force pushed me away, "No helping." He said with a grin. The last point, Maggie is on the floor, she trying her hardest to block his hits as much as she can. At that point, Kira and Keiden come up, Kira sits Kieden down and runs towards us. she was the one holding on to the pine leaves, at this point the Ecplise was ending. We burned the pine leaves and went behind Dark when he was distracted, I slide my arms under his arms, pulled them back to the floor and locking his head and legs. Kira made Dark inhale the smoke, Dark was screaming. We saw the smoke leaving my hands, the smoke tried escaping but Kieden the smoke in a jar. Derick woke up gasping for air. Kira ran up to Derick and started hugging him in joy, Maggie lifted me, be for I could thank her, she kissed. "I guess it is all over." Keiden shouted across, "And my wound is healed." 

Nogitsune is now contained from the world to never be opened again.
