The Babysitter (Luke Hemmings)

Chapter 6

It's been a while since I've talked to Luke or since he confessed his love to me I don't know what it is but I can't look at him the same anymore after what I found out so anytime I'm near him I try avoiding a conversation but he always finds a way to talk anyways

LUKES POV::
I don't know how to say it to her she's sitting right beside me to I'm in love with her but I don't think that she's in love with me the same easy she seems to be avoiding me every time we are close to each other it drives me insane and I don't know if I can take it anymore

I was interrupted from my thoughts by the telephone ringing I stood up to answer it "hello" I spoke into the speaker "Luke hey this is Mrs. Davis I'm just calling to let you know that we will be staying here longer than expected we had a little emergency" she said

"Can you please put Anthony on the phone so I can talk to him" I called out to Anthony an gave him the phone then I decided that enough was enough I needed to talk to Lillie I knocked on her door

"Come in" I heard her say

"Lillie can we talk" I asked her looking down at the floor

She looked up from her phone and sat up in her bed "use your words go" she said

" it's driving me crazy that your not talking to me and I don't know what it is but there's something where I need to have you be mine Lillie I know with you being my girlfriend I should've never made that mistake but that's before I found out that I was crazily in love with you and theres a feeling I get every morning when I wake the feeling that I can't wait until I can hold you and kiss you and tell you how much I love you but then in that moment I realize that I can't because your not talking to me and you'd probably push me away"

"It's not that Luke I love you I honesty do and I love everything about you. But it's just going to take some time to get used to the fact that you were stalking me behind my back and that you kept in your feelings for me this long" I said

"So are we good then" I asked

"Yes we are" she said coming up to me and hugging me I kissed her forehead "I love you Lillie" I said into the hug

"I Love you too" she replied back every time she said this I always got butterflies I love the feeling

We both went down stairs and saw Anthony crying "hey Anthony what's wrong" Lillie said walking over to him

LILLIES POV::
I sat by Anthony rubbing his back to soothe him

"Dad is dead" I froze in my place all the memories started popping in my head that me and dad had together and I didn't know what to say

Tears started brimming my water line "Luke" I cried and went over to him he hugged me tightly "I can't believe it Luke he's gone" I cried sobbing into his shoulder

"Shh it's okay Lillie everything will be okay" I said hugging her and rubbing circles around in a circle in her back

"Why why why" I kept repeating what did I do to deserve this I sat with Luke for over 3 hours until I had no more tears to let out even after that it was just sniffling and Luke's shirt was soaked on his right side I apologized about it several times but he said that it was okay

"I'm going to bed" Anthony said walking up stairs

"Me too" Luke said

"Wait can you sleep with me tonight" I asked him "please"

"Yeah" he said we walked upstairs together and then we got into the bed I was at the edge of the bed but he wrapped his arm around me and he pulled me closer to him
