The Babysitter (Luke Hemmings)

Chapter 14

It was halfway into the movie when we heard someone yell "please evacuate the premises" we watched people running we were making our way when the guy that yelled stopped us

"Except for you two sit down"

"Come on dude just let us through" Luke said holding my hand

"No I'm good" he said before shots rung out Luke's lifeless body laid on the floor next to me surrounded in a pool of blood

I awoke in a panic sweat dripping off my forehead

I looked at my clock beside me and it read 3:33 am

I laid down and decided in the morning id ask Luke to meet me for coffee

THE NEXT MORNING::
"Nobody nobody can drag me down" I sang the words to one of one directions new songs

I liked it I had just gotten out of the shower and was putting my hair up in a towel

I shook my hair in the towel and the wrapped it around my head

I then proceeded to my room and opened my drawer grabbing a pair of underwear and a bra then I walked to my closet picking out my outfit for the first day of school

I chose a nirvana shirt with Black skinny jeans and black converse

And put on my makeup I did winged eyeliner concealer and powder I applied my favorite lip balm (choose one of yours) and applied it all over my lips and then went to blow dry my hair and straighten it I took one last look in the mirror and decided it looked good

I went downstairs and grabbed my backpack and slipped my phone in my back pocket and grabbed a snack and walked out the door grabbing a pair of headphones and plugging them in and put my music on shuffle and started walking to the bus stop

When I got there I saw a familiar quiff "Luke" I called he was talking to another girl how nice of him

"Oh hey Lillie I didn't expect to see you here"

"Well I'm here so" I awkwardly said I walked passed him getting bumped by the girl I grabbed my phone and sent a message to Luke

Lillie: 😑 your gonna get it later

I hit send and watch Luke take out his phone and read the message he then glanced over at me and typed

Luke: 😏 oh really

I read the message as he sent it to me

I put away my phone and waited for the bus

10 minutes later the bus arrived and we all got in Luke was sitting with the girl

Lillie: 😔 why are you doing this to me?

Luke: 😟 baby I'm not

Lillie: 😩 but you are and it's not right

I looked at him from the back of the bus where I was and saw him get up and walk over to me and sit at the chair across from me

"Talk to Me"

"I love you" I whispered looking down he then scooted to sit next to me he took my chin in his hand and said

"And I love you"

Those words melted my heart and before I could process anything else I crashed my lips against his I couldn't resist the feeling

His warm lips moved in sync with mine
