Narrator: In our last episode, Isaiah and his Pokemon get closer and closer to Route 3. However, on the way there, Riolu finally reveals why he acts formally and obediently. What will we see? The Journey continues now!

I looked around, finding myself in a dark ocean blue surrounding. The floor, endless surroundings, and sky were all the same color. After sightseeing nothing, I found Riolu about 20 steps before me. I took nearly half of those steps before I stopped. Riolu and I stared at one another.

"Is this your mind or mine?" I asked. Riolu patted his chest. "Ok," I said, looking around myself one more.

Riolu then put his hand out in front of me, and the area he was pointing at seemed to become a giant theatre screen, showing a different setting. We seemed to be floating above a newly hatched Riolu, sitting as an orange-haired man left him.

"Another plain Riolu. Man, it's taking forever for these shinies..." The guy said, getting in his truck as it drove away.

"So you were abandoned because you weren't shiny..." I said. Riolu nodded.

Shortly after, we see a young boy pick up Riolu and take him home. After some time, he caught him and used him in Pokemon battles. However, he lost every single match he got into, making people and his friends make fun of him for his lack of skill. This leads to the boy releasing Riolu and running away, shouting at him as he blames him for being made fun of. He then ran off, sobbing. Riolu fully understood why he did this and wandered Owensville. This leads him to the lady finding him at the market and Professor Lavender taking him back.

"So, you act so formally because you're afraid of abandonment?" I asked. Riolu nodded, tiny tears forming in his eyes. I kneeled as Riolu sniffled.

"Listen, you're MY Pokemon," I said. "And if you fail, then fail. It only makes you stronger. And if you fail again, I'll fail with you, and we'll get stronger together! Don't be perfect; nobody is." I said. Riolu looked up at me, his tears slowly subsiding. "Now, let's make it to Route 3!" I said. Riolu nodded, and my vision began to un-shapen again.

(End Music 1 here)

I woke up to see Charmander and Riolu looking at me. I was lying in the dirt, and the mist had cleared, revealing a long and beautiful sunlit sky. I blinked a couple of times before getting up.

 "Char?" Charmander yipped.

"Yeah, I'm alright," I said, getting up. Riolu and I looked at each other. Charmander stood there, confused. I then noticed we were standing right in front of a cave opening. Next to it was a sign saying "Route 3 Entrance.".

"Well, guys, let's go!" I said, running in.

Charmander continued to stand more confused than ever. Riolu put his paw on the back and gave her a look that said, "I suggest we just leave it be." Charmander and Riolu then hurried behind me.

As we walk into the cave, we see a variety of jewels and gems on the walls of the caves. I found several gold nuggets, a classic rock, and a bottle cap.

"Arbok's Grape Soda." I read. I wipe it on my shirt and put it in my bag.

 "Char, Charmander?" Charmander yipped.
